This is a very tough period and prices of things are going up, if your landlord did not increase your rent then count yourself very lucky

My landlord actually reduced mine from 150k to 45k after I showed him my APC port.

Mine added #150,000. From #500k to #650k and the man said that the cost of maintaining the building is too high and I've been in this house for the past 5 years this man has not spend one naira to improve anything in the building.

It wasn't even up to two years he increased from #400k to #500k

My Landlord did attempt it na me no gree. He served us all notice that rent will be increased by 200K.

My sister in-law who's a lawyer (was living with us then) replied him through writing stating their usual legal jargons. Baba and him agent confused.

Baba calm down once and never mentioned it to me again. Him no want "wahala". Imagine having to deal with me plus lawyer wahala .

However, meself come respect myself. I didn't tell the other tennants the "code". Whenever they are complaining about the increment, meself dey follow complain. Perhaps that's why Oga landlord let the matter slide.
