We all the bicycle kick saga he had with Victor Ikpeba a few years ago during the World Cup, when he made a simple analysis and Oshihem reacted to it by trolling him online on his social media s severally, going as far as calling him "AGBAYA" on his IG... no action was taken against him by the NFF to this day.Things would have escalated, but for the ex-Super Eagle star maturity, he let it slide with no further response. Nigerians didn't really take it as a big offense at the time. In fact, many people were in of oshihem as the STAR BOY that he is. We never knew the ego we were taming.

During the last AFCON, when Iwobi and the Super Eagles were criticised, they still made it to the finals, although they lost. During the Super Eagles arrival from the tournament, we saw how calm they were. A video circulated online of a lady trying to get Oshihem to make a statement as normal but he bluntly refused, saying 'FREE ME, JHOR...' as he walked past. While other Super Eagle players comported themselves and acted professionally one could see the high level of arrogance and annoyance, ego oozing from him the way he said it. As I watched, I realised from that moment that this young man is far from being humble, despite still being young in the game.

Yet again yesterday's video showed him going live on IG, disrespecting George Finidi, a legend simply because he saw an unverified news report from some blogs with no video evidence. Good God, he even went further to disrespect all Nigerians as a whole and Super Eagles ers, saying 'OGUN should kill everyone.' And you're telling me the NFF will keep quiet when they review the video? What will other foreign nationals say when they see players acting this way to the country? Come on, there's a limit to what we can take. This is a huge disrespect to the country's flag, and if no action is taken, more issues like this will arise. There's an adage that says, no matter how tall an okro plant is, it can never be bigger than its owner. I hate nonsense, and a man should be held able for his actions, knowingly or unknowingly. He's still our star boy and we love him but with these few points of mine, I want to urge the NFF to move in, investigate this, and take action swiftly to avoid more global embarrassment to our nation like this.

#BORN2WIN that warri boy.

Wren other countries dey pamper their legends, maradona, pele, and rest. We de disgrace our own.
Why Africans just be like this self.

How many times maradona criticise messi openly? Did Messi not handled it with class by winning the world cup.

Osimhen knows the amount of dollars NFF officials take from him and other players hence the disrespect.
NFF is one big corrupt institution.

If only nff won't turn another deaf eye to this. Oshihem needs nigeria more than nigerians need him at this early stage of his career. Imagine been expelled from the super eagle's squad won't that affect his market ratings and value.
Poor people no de always get sense when God elevate them.

I completely agree with you! He should be asked to apologize to Finidi, and Nigerians in general, else he be expelled. No player, i repeat, no player is bigger than the National team. Not even the African player of the year. Again, yes, he was right to have addressed the lie, if indeed Finidi told a lie. But the manner in which he did it was totally wrong. My 2 cents.

I totally disagree with you. Osimhen should be taught a lesson at least. That will humble him. He should where he's coming from. His arrogance will not take him far. Nonsense!!!

Any coach who singles out a player for failure, should expect a backlash from such player.
Though both actions are wrong but the onus is more on the Coach to guard his utterances.
To whom much is given, much is expected.

&also we all know that many talented footballers are uncultured. So don't expect them to act civil under provocation.

Finidi did not single out any player. Victor heard that as rumour instead of him to verified if Finidi actually said it, he did not instead he made that video. There was no video of Finidi accusing Victor of anything.

Well, the report even if fake, was a serious damage to his reputation as a commited S/Eagles player.
Finidi should come out & debunk the report & he and NFF should sue the originator of the fake news.
