Shut up!!! I thought you wanted to dispute the fact that nothing like that happened , now you’re telling me it’s just 5%. the bottom line is that it happened.
South Africans are on pay per view , when they increased their price , a reduction of patronage reduced .
Compare that to Nigeria where prices increase continuously without giving us pay preview. only total boycott will reset their brains .

Everything is not politics, Nigerian law makers have failed to stand up for the people that’s why the people are standing in for themselves. Let DSTV introduce pay per view if the patronage won’t surge.

Glo is the best and most friendly network in Nigeria presently.

It is high time we embrace our own product and stop enslaving ourselves in our country.

#BuyNigerBuyNaira#

Subscribe for Glo
Patronize local restaurants
Buy local foods and not packaged imported/finished products
Buy Innoson motor
Visit our tourist cities
there network is very poor

Why should they also increase their subscription fee ridiculously?
..it's due to the bad economy...high costs of fuel disel, 1500 naira to a dollar...naira depreciating against the dollars,, multiple taxation, lack of constant electricity light supply..and it's not only DStv that increased price.. foodstuffs goods transportation house rent, school fees, electricity bill have all increased price ridiculously due to high costs of fuel disel and removal of fuel subsidy

To dump my multi choice decoder is the second best decision I've taken this year. I'm so glad and proud I took that decision.

What is ur best decision of the year....

Is that enough to stream for one month though?
And howmuch does this cost?
It's even too much for me for 120 days. 525GB for 120days @ 60k with call bonus of 240k.
Might go for MTN optic fibre unlimited but not now.

DSTV is currently complaining that subscribers have dropped massively in Nigeria.

So you people were serious when you said you will stop subscribing?

Thoughts on this ?

These days I stream everything I want to watch....for free.
No time!

This is how it should be. Free market. Not trying to force DSTV to give you free subscription. If you don't like their services, then stop using it! Simple!
Compliant(m): 5:37pm On Jun 14, 2024
Stopped using Dstv since dec 2023, they have being calling.

I and one other person I know personally have dumped Dstv. Even the Gotv that used to be in my room for , I have dumped it as well. They announce increment with impunity. What arrogance!

People can do without entertainment if they didn't know. Comparing entertainment to essential commodities and services indicates a slow business sense. Since I stopped my Dstv sub, I know peace. Imagine switching on power generator to watch some old regurgitated movies. sad

Hahaha what a zombified humanoid
Do you even use DSTV? Do you know that the previous price for compact plus is the price for confam today?
Multichoice has pay per view in SA yet they still had a marginal decline.
Compare with Nigeria where price has doubled in the last one year. With the current cost of living crisis in Nigeria, how many people can afford to spend 10k to watch a bouquet like confam that's meant to be for the lower class? 10k is one third of the minimum wage!!
The decline is due to the cost of living crisis and not any pay per view. Stop deceiving yourself
