Few weeks ago my dad told me he is HIV positive, when he told me I was disappointed but I made sure I didn't show it and I encouraged him... Him and my mother has been sick for a while and I certainly know he has transferred it to my mum.... My dad was very promiscuous when he was younger even after he married my mom he was still promiscuous. I am the only child and I have been footing the bills for their medical cares I am just 26 years old and I have spent so much and there is more spending still to come.... My father only told me, my mother is not aware of her health status all she thinks it's just a normal sickness happening to her. My dad was positive, though he didn't tell me but find out that when i saw hiv drug in his room, i thought he was taking the drug, but he stop, he was itted to the hospital with a hiv related kidney failure like u said he was not able to work after 1 month he on after spending more than 800k in the hospital my mom too is living with the virus i advice her to keep taking the drugs but am afraid, i pray 4 her everyday

Did he tell you that or you are assuming?

HIV is currently not a dead sentence, early detection is the key. They should visit heart to heart center of any general hospital. Treatment is free. Consistent taking of ARV as prescribed the the physician will reduce the viral and they will back on their feet.
Also, they must eat balanced diet and take more fruits.
