Hello guys, I was given a sponsorship award to study in the UK, the award covers the full tuition and living expenses . I was also promised by the government to be employed after the course in the UK. I am also eligible to add dependant but I'm single.
After reading the warnings about the issues Nigerian students are going through in the UK at the moment is it advisable to go to the UK, it's the biggest opportunity I have recieved.

My current financial situation is such that I don't even have the Visa fees and NHS fees due to exchange rate, can anyone advice or assist me.
.

How did u get this deal?

My brother u have no problem. U mentioned ur tuition fee is covered and not only that u mentioned about living expenses also covered .. Please look for money and borrow or if its to sell land u do. Okay

What I have been warning is about selling ur properties, borrowing etc then come without still covering ur school fees and and u hope to work and pay. Which is not feasible anymore.. Then at the end the school send u home. So many people are in this dilemma right now.

So once ur fees is covered abeg de come

You were promised by the Government? Which government? The outgoing UK Conservative UK Government? The incoming UK Labour Government or the high performing Nigeria APC Government?

If you are able to provide an answer to my question, hand on heart I promise I will advice/assist you.

When something sounds too good to be true, it is usually not true..

If it is true, I wish you all the best.

If you are trying to scam someone, you will fail woefully...

that job promise part got me looking at that person's claim somehow. That's a new one. Oh well, none of my business🤷

Edited: I get it now. He must mean the Nigerian govt. Since he is on a scholarship provided by the Nigerian govt, it stands to reason that the job after graduation offer must also have been made by the Nigerian govt

It is called Post-study for a reason.
You need to finish your studies first. completely. kpatakpata. Then your school will forward your details to the home office that you have sucessfully completed your course. Then you can apply for the Graduate visa, aka PSW

You don't need any idea from anybody. It's your school that will guide you on what to do when they find you worthy of post study visa. They will forward your name to UKVI then UKVI will notify you that your details has been sent to them by your school to process your Post study visa.
The only thing you have to be doing now is start to double your hustle to raise almost £3k for each applicant.

If all what has been said is too big for u to comprehend, the summary is it is not advisable to come tru student visa with the intention of paying ur balance of let's say 7k pounds and accommodation with 20 hours weekly work.

Without dependant

It's suicide (like literally).

If u av the fund, start coming.

I personally don't like advising Nigerians (we all know how we behave typically).

4 people even liked ur comment...lol

Typical Nigerians....

The worst part in advising a Nigerian is when the person is too religious, after telling them the truth and reality on ground they will go to one man of God (MOG), who start quoting how all things are possible. That don't listen to man. Eventually the student will come to UK this time around and land his or herself in a big mess, then eye go clear.
MOGs have blocked most of thier rational thinking. Such students are many here stranded.

Hello everyone , I'm a silent reader of this forum and i want to appreciate everyone for the great information's shared on this platform.
I applied on the 23rd of May and i didnt receive any application received confirmation email from the UKVI.
When i tracked in the TLS ..It states that my application has been transferred to the DMC.
I know ideally, it usually takes 15 days for the decision to be made but i am worried and i am currently on the 10th day .

Should i email the UKVI or give them a paid call?

Also i declared a past visa denial from Canada last year and i attached a letter of explanation of why i was rejected and decided not to re apply to Canada. Most people i have seen got thier visas in less than 10 days.. I am just worried. cry cry

Cost of sponsorship don go up. Lol. Migration now is serious gymnastics. God help us

Reform UK has set out proposals to increase taxes on companies that employ overseas workers, to end what it calls the country's "addiction" to cheap foreign labour.

Under Reform's policy, firms would pay a higher 20% rate of National Insurance for foreign workers, up from the current 13.8%

But does that warrant the name calling? Even Americans say God bless America amidst anything that happens in their country be it gun violence or school massacre. The British say God bless the Queen amidst the knife crimes but down here they keep saying negatives to make a point. Is the bad name necessary in his attempt to sell whatever he wants to sell?

My bio was on the 24th of may.

Oh, good luck tho.
Does one pay for IHS and Visa fee and gets date immediately or its just flexible? Meaning you can choose any day to submit?

Please house help me, I haven't done this before, do I pay usd my dollar card to tls and get date to submit immediately or I need to book and pay ahead of time.

For example I'm planning to submit on 25th, do I pay a week before the date or I can do that very week, for exam I pay on 24th and submit the second day. Any contribution would be appreciated 👍

Sometimes, the truth may not set you free lol.

In all you do, make sure you disclose the refusals to UKVI.

Hiding it from the school can be debatable. BTW, can you name the 2 schools?
