What is your program of interest? Are you looking research-based program or a course-based?

A quick question guys.
For some travelling to the UK, do I still need to show evidence of the complete Covid vaccination shot?
I know this was required previously but I don't know if its still mandatory

No longer required.

Hello people,
Please two year course in Social Work =12k per year with some months placement, is it a rewarding direction in UK? How soft is it with 4k pound initial deposit? Someone needs advice on the career part and opportunities.

Social care is a shortage skill occupation which can give you sponsorship easily if you know what you are doing. Take it if they offer you

It was never certain, it is just that Nigerians know the rules to follow to guarantee their study visa. Of course these are recent.

Things have changed in the UK if you don't have means of paying balance of school fees at the school's stipulated time when you accepted the offer, please have a rethink. Many students here in the UK who could not pay balance at stipulated time have been sent back home. Or issions withdrawn. This time around the schools are very strict unlike 2021 and 2022 when things were relaxed work and pay at your own way.

There are schools that still accept 1k-2k. Buh the problem is that there tuition is very high. Also, when you check the Russell schools, I don’t think any of them have deposit that’s more than the 2,500. Buh the tuition na die

Salford and Bolton University both have good payment plans. I’ll prefer Bolton tho.

If you don’t pay your fees on time they will lock you out of the school portal, you won’t be able to submit assignment, and they will report you to home office.
Once dem report you, na to start Dey arrange your bag remain.

Good day house pls I need advice for my family friend who is here in the UK with her husband, she needs help from us/ advice/ suggestions. The home office has written to them to leave the UK, because their student route was not successful after the hubby failed on several occasions. Before their visa expired this year January, the lady tried looking for sponsorship, unfortunately she did not get, so a lawyer adviced they apply for PSW on the ground that her hubby will repeat and the exams, which they quickly did, but he failed it again and home office refused the application. We are so confused now. They are now overstayers. She is trying to seek asylum. please have anybody gone through this process OR you know any one that has gone through this asylum. Some pple advised to seek asylum in Ireland. Can anybody help us with a good lawyer that can assist. She doesn't have a job now.

Going back home is not the best solution now. pls help we are confused now. Not easy on them. Thank u.

you see what I was saying. When your countrymen/country keep showing up in the news negatively like this, patterns form, conclusions are made, and repercussions come

First it was highest dependent to student ratio
Then Emdee Tiamiyu
Now cumulatively tens of thousands of Nigerian students across universities being unable to pay up fees

I foresee Nigerian students being shadow-blocked by a good number of UK universities in the very near future.

Not a good look at all.
