Money doesn't metamorphosize to food on the table, clean and beautiful home, kids well fed and cared for, family healthy, clean clothes, and every other thing the money is expected to do.

It is the wife usually expected to do all that in addition to taking care of herself, her husband, her children and her in-laws.

Add that to working and contributing financially to the home while at it.

Marriage is primarily for the benefit of men. Like a good employer, marriage to a good man who loves his wife would yield good benefits to the wife.
