Keep ing evil.
You invite mid level employees for a meeting, they attend and they got detained. Keep cheering this nonsénse, while you jump from country to country and plane to plane looking for investors.
You think they don't do their research before throwing their millions? Ride on boy.
The guy was trying to enlighten you but you’re hell bent on being a fool, you people will continue ing an enemy of your country against your country, yet you claim to be educated? Isn’t that stupidity. Your country is convicting an organisation that has always been encouraging fraudulent activities against its economy, yet you call that evil? How do you define this callousness? I’m ashamed for you and your low self esteem.

Nigeria is a criminal enterprise that think it's a country. It's a kidnapping centre of the world.
They kidnapped two innocent people
Why Bomb Gaza and Iran when US and any other super powers can bomb Nigeria to pieces in return make the world a better place
Show me a country without corrupt people, it’s not a must to comment and show your stupidity, if those guys are so innocent, why would one of them decide to escape from detention? Do you people even reason at all? This is getting too much, ing evil against your country and you feel you can ever make it on this soil? You won’t my brother. Your country is your Jerusalem, and whatever you wish her will def be your portion directly or indirectly, you like it or not. Get sense bro!!!

Keep running down your own country to please those who are only after profit of their business and that of their employers.
America did what is good for America, just as Nigeria is doing what is good for Nigeria.
Binance and it's goal to make profit, cannot be more important than America or Nigeria economic stability.
Immense shame on you and your traitorous lineage.
It is not by force to be patriotic, but to always seek out ways to destroy your country, then you are an enemy of the state.
Did you even read the writeup?
Binance never denied wrong doing, all they wanted was to settle the issue amicably.
US has a law preventing oversea companies from offering CFDs to US citizens, Binance knowingly floated this law.
Hence why the US tried the owner (not some mid-level executive).
The law that binance floated was tax invasion, tax invasion should have been settled with a fine.
What Nigeria is doing is against international law.
Trust me, few years down the road we are going to pay compensation once the executive takes the issue to
an international court.
They will floor nigeria in court

4 months in prison
You actually believe he was truly convicted for fraud or whatever, yet got 4 months?
Is 4 months the punishment for money laundering and fraud in the US?
There was no case against him but not to embarrass the government, they decided to cook up something to save face.
Do you know what happened to FTX owner? He got 25yrs for cryptocurrency fraud
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2024/05/05/inside-the-final-prison-verdict-on-an-epic-crypto-ceo-rivalry.html.
4 months in prison
Read why he was given 4 months. Even after prosecutors wanted at least 3 years.
Read how much The company was fined by the US.
And don't forget the US justice system when you plead guilty.

Even if you plead guilty and you pay fine, you can't get a mere 4 months prison sentence for confirmed fraud and money laundering allegations.
Did you also not see what was seized from the FTX guy, yet he got 25yrs in prison
Binance CEO didnt plead guilty, it was all to save face. His travails is similar to that of Huawei and Tiktok owners

After detaining them, you still tour around the world telling companies to come and invest in your country.
Like one man rightfully put it, if your economy is doing well, you don't have to beg anyone to come and invest in your country. Na you dem go dey find come! Investors are always looking for places to invest in.
Smart indeed
You didn't say this when the USA detained the founder
The number of truly smart people in Nigeria should be less than 25
Hypocritical smartness 😂😂

Sadly, everyone under trial will make any allegation that wins public sympathy! However, they need to present these with evidence before the EFCC and Code of Conduct Bureau! I run the management of a private estate in Lagos. My experience is that most persons accused of infractions always try to turn the table against the Security Personal on the excuse that it's because they refuse to give them tips, until you start to dig deep and unravel the facts.
In fact, if you have nothing to hide as an American Citizen, how can a 'common' Nigerian Legislator of opposition party be threatening you for kickback or bribe? (Make we reason this thing o!) And why escape through the back door, when your life is not under threat (as an American citizen in ordinary Nigeria)?
Many Nairalanders are ignorantly and hatefully ing outsiders against their own government fighting for their currency! Very sad indeed.
If you think you're dealing with TINUBU's government by ing these international crooks called Binance, think again! A lot of Nigerians have lost their fortunes to these Ponzi schemes always repackaged and re-presented, including BETthis and BETthat, SwissGold, SwissGolden, MMM, etc.
Sighs!!!!
Who wrote this piece of crap?

Leave emotions aside, bro.
How is Binance affecting the Naira? Right now, Binance has halted all Naira transactions, so where is the Naira today? The problem lies in the BVN and non-cashless policy for dollars.
Politicians are stealing dollars by inflating contracts, thereby draining the already scarce liquidity.
If the FG/CBN makes dollars cashless, we'll see how these politicians will struggle to wheelbarrow bags of dollars to the bank for deposit. Instead, they're busy disgracing themselves, and people who don't understand how liquidity works are applauding them.
Check P2P platforms, and you'll see that the dollar-naira exchange rate is around ₦1400. However, on platforms owned by the political class, like Eversend and Grey, they're selling dollars at ₦1550 and buying at ₦1330. Yet, our clueless president and his outdated CBN Governor can't see that these people are being exploited.
Even YouTubers and others using monetization platforms face issues, as there's no direct conversion between dollars and Naira within banking apps. People risk their lives transacting with aboki instead of using regularized and secured escrow platforms.
No be everything una dey applaud blindly.
Wake up!!!
Well said.
If the clueless president had a working brain, which I doubt , the 1st thing, he would have done is to reform the FX sector, all transactions should be done online.
