I didn’t change any settings on the app because I can’t even when last I made use of the app. I only noticed that the display on the battery was blank yesterday which was odd because it has never done that since when I’ve been using the battery and that was what prompted me to make use of the app to confirm if anything was wrong with the battery. This is a screenshot of the settings. I will post pictures of the inverter voltage reading when I get back home.

U go need get someone to AV a look at those cells, 4.8v is too much n might AV damaged those cells. Did u change d BMS parameters under settings

No I didn’t. I can’t even the last time I opened the app not to talk of editing the settings

No I didn’t. It has always been showing 14 cells from day 1 I got the battery from the Jos guy

Some of the BMS wire have disconnected so giving the bms a false info about your battery. You may need to open the battery and check if all the lead wires are continuous.

Will try to open it when I get home and take pictures so I can on the forum

Its likely a 14s li ion pack.
Jos boy was a fan of used li ion /ev cells
The cells hv a diff voltage profile from lifepo4...so uses 14 cells..not 16.

Lifepo4 cell nominal voltage is 3.2v
Li ion cells nominal voltage is 3.7v

Why do you have 14S set? Should be 16

Okay, you probably have a Li-ion system coupled. But the balancer was suppose to take care of that?

Yesterday I noticed the display on my battery was blank and immediately I opened the jk bms app on my phone and attached is the screenshot what i saw. Since yesterday my battery has refused to charge and I don’t know what to do. I got the battery from the Jos guy two years ago and I’ve messaged him on WhatsApp and tried calling him too but he’s not responding. The battery is reading low voltage on my inverter now but on the jk app the battery voltage is high.

Toggle it on to achieve what exactly...one cell has runaway. At 4.8v...the bms shudnt hv allowed that happen.

Best to discharge the pack...not charge

it is probably li-ion cells, you will need to get an external balancer to balance the cells or find a way to charge all the cells up to full voltage excluding the number 4 cell. Let's just hope the cell no 4 has not been irreparably damaged

Without that button toggled back up, he cannot achieve a connection to the inverter. Even though I doubt the BMS will allow him toggle it though.

What is the best way to discharge the particular set of cells? He has to also know how to identify which is which.

I have come again ooo with my inverter palaver. Finally added 2 300watt s to make 1500watts on my 12v hybrid and input went up to 550watts from 350 at peak hours. However i know from small geography and online gist that the sun move from east to west but which one is now sun that was facing my when I install initially is now behind it. My roof is south facing by the way. Pls when wud the sun come around too if u know 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Including idle consumption and other miscellaneous power draws, let's say 1.8kwh.

Eseentually, you need two 150aH tubular batteries at the very least. That will run you 400k+ right now.

Your budget just isn't enough, I'm sorry. Raise it to around 800k and you may be able to sneak by. There's a guy who just d a Smarten hybrid for 290k.

That said, though, you may be able to get by with used batteries, a sachet inverter, and a pwm cc.

I have a 1KVA Hybrid inverter, it comes with 30 amps charge controller. I also have a 220Ah battery.
I use a total load of 100-150 watts
I'm planning on getting 200 watts s to enable me charge my battery to 100% daily, how many 200 watts s would i need?

Are those cells not 24 in number rather the 14 your BMS was showing? Abi na my eyes non de see well?

Secondly, they look like LiFeP04 cells, why then was the voltage set so high, I think the max charge voltage per cell is not supposed to exceed 3.65V, I recall seeing up to 4V in your earlier picture showing settings.

Seems your BMS failed or failing.

If you're willing to go for a lower quality 12v 105ah Lfp battery (grade c), then the 500k will take care of it together with 12v 1.5kw hybrid inverter.
We're expecting grade A,B&C Eve Cells soon

Wow! I would like to know more about the grading system and the brand of the inverter. And if possible, the disadvantages of this setup, especially in relation to future expansion.

Do you have a multimeter? There is still a way to balance the cells manually
