Stanbic IBTC. I've been using them since when I was in the private sector and even now that I switched to FG. No issues whatsoever. Even got my 25% without much hassle when I was out of job for 6mnts.

All u guys focus on is salary. Overtime development n opportunities as an Immigration officer is highly above Ffs. NIS hv opportunities to work in Embassies (even outside 9ja). NIS uses fire arm, does FFS have? Ffs is a cool job for who doesn't like stress or business person etc

I think some FFS personnel gets posted to some agencies too , I heard some even get posted to NNPC , i don't know how true this nnpc own is but i ffs personnel getting posted to the development control office that i did my nysc

Bros if you don't know firemen that have made it ,that might be your reasons , even opportunities abroad with the right professional certificate ,fire fighter are been looked for abroad,places like Australia and co ,with the right professional certificate ,do you know how much a fire fighter attached to a oil firm is paid apart from his or her salary ,let God just give you the work wey him won use make you hammer,I have seen a poor immigration officer and I have seen a very wealthy fire man on the same rank ,who fire arm help,even Nigeria hunter dey use fire arm, even as an officer ,you cannot hold fire arm without g it in officially ,you can work your entire career without holding fire arm...God will help us all bro .

Only a myopic engineering or science graduate will pick immigration over fire service because he or she heard there is bribe in immigration service. Fact is fire service has the best career prospect of all the agencies under interior for those with science background.

But it usually 0.001 out of 100.
Well, i mostly use statistics to determine favorable nature of a job in one's kontri. Under 30-45% of ffs staff enjoy such juicy posting that was my reason of sayin NIS is better in 9ja.
Ffs is a hot job in abroad no doubt esp
in Australia. The case is similar to dat of Vet Medicine in 9ja, it a nice course to study, but is it lucrative in 9ja?

You are so correct a fire fighter can be paid close to a million monthly as allowance base on what you have just stated , if he is attached to a private oil firm . This excluding his or her monthly salary from federal government, people pay up to 150k to 350k to get safety certificate,a fire fighter wey Sabi him job dey cash out steady ,. Let us not cast the job ,that was how someone I know looked down on the job 2019 and wanted to change the slot for Nigeria correctional service and now the person is balling .....

safety engineering is just a department or division in fire service.
you think there are not other engineering roles in every agency ?
we have
-system engineers
-environmental engineers
-civil engineers
-every agency always has occupational health and safety and emergency response team.
I'm even very sure immigration will have IT specialists.
I will rather be staff in NLNG with my engineering degree than one yeye safety engineer for fire service and when I reach abroad I go do safety course get job.

My point is follow where money dey as he dey hot.
every agency has engineers, ants, auditors, supply chain, safety etc. but na salary and allowance be koko.

one thing ive noticed about life is money dey everywhere, just make sure say you dey where he dey happen.
there are navy officers making 100 times wetin oil company big boys are making (though not legal)
I don see oga for NSCDC wey get money him mate for CBN
infact I don see where junior staff get bastard money senior staff (i no go call the organisation).
some people for NNPC no get money, dem just dey manage life, while police officer dey buy house home and abroad.

it all boils down to factors like posting, location, department, oga wey sabi and he is good to you (everybody chop)

Pray make God say na your time, make you sabi small office politics, and no dey gather enemies unnecessarily. your luck might just shine

P.s ive seen people have bastard money and still loose it, just hold your God tight.

I have been using them from private sector and when I switched to FG I retained them.
