There's no new link from IRCC. Use Xe.com or Oanda.com to determine the current rate(s).

I was in Ukraine during the war, so i applied for something called Uk Ukraine Sponsorship Visa Scheme, but unfortunately my application was refused. (This is not a normal visa, it was even free and open to only people affected by the war in Ukraine)

To cut the story short, i applied for the normal visiting visa to Canada and was approved (but i did not indicate that i have been denied a visa before, which is the Uk Ukraine Sponsorship scheme). Now I'm processing an express entry application in Canada, do i need to indicate that i had a refusal before?.

Or should i ignore as i did for my tourist visa?

For those looking to take the IELTS, I suggest you google Mafit Study Center. Their fees are cheaper than both the British Council and IDP. Don't know how hey do it and they give 1 month physical classes for free as well. It's worth checking out

Do I access it via a different email.

First of all they asked me to prove my marriage the further,by adding more pictures and chats and documentation…
That one is not an issue..
The main issue now is that they said I’m guilt for misrepresentation……
I never knew I made a mistake in the form……
To be honest,I filled the wrong box by mistake…
In 2017,I was denied a us visiting visa…
I think I wanted to go for vacation or something….
I can’t even why they rejected me…
It was since 2017,
So they asked me to prove myself,if found guilty,I will be banned for 5 years….
My marriage is still very young and the emotional turmoil of long distance sef is painful….
I consulted some consultant and she said I should look for the slip they gave me the refusal slip…
I can’t find it….
But I had to search my mail and saw the application slip with the application number…..
How do we go about it and honestly,we don’t have the funds for a lawyer at this moment….
Pls has any one gone through this

You don’t have much to worry about, just clearly state that it was an honest mistake, state the reason you wanted to travel then and the refusal you got and that you also did not reapply. Also State that you are aware of info sharing between US and Canada and it would not have been or any benefit for you to conceal such information especially as it will not have any impact on your application. Then you can add the screen shot and that’s it.

I am outside canada and as such i dont have a postal code and canadian phone number as requested on the form. Please how do i go about this?

I have an active EE profile and my province is in the process of nominating me. But PNp and confirmation from IRCC may take 3months and I only have about 2months to my workpermit expiring. With my points in the pool right now, I could get ITA soon but the PNP is meant to be a backup plan as the draws have been slow lately.

Someone mentioned that once I get nominated, I will no longer be qualified for the next FSW draw. Is this true please? Can anyone confirm this?

To send your port to Kenya, here are the steps I followed.


1. port request letter
2. 2x Photo port
3. International port
4. CVAC form
5. Receipt of transmission fee payment.
6. DHL Return label
7. Eye and height chart
8.(optional) two photocopies of port data page with email address and phone number.


You need the 7 documents above

Step 1: print out PPR letter, consent form (CVAC) and eye & height chart.

Step 2: make a port according to the specifications (it’s on your PPR letter, also try to look fresh, I heard that picture will be used everywhere for a long time)

Step 3: Pay and get Kenya VFS transmission receipt. (It costs 32k now, but dollar rate might say otherwise). You can reach out for the i used, as I cannot just put the here.

Step 4: Have a DHL 'to and return' waybill documents (it costs 78k normally, it might cost more currently). You can reach out for the i used as well.

Step 5: put all documents asides the DHL Lagos-Nairobi waybill inside an envelope

Step 6: go submit the documents at any official DHL office close to you. ( they’ll ask for the DHL waybill document (Lagos-Kenya)

Step 7: buy coke and 3 puff puff, you deserve to spoil yourself.

What do you refer to as "nomination"? Is it the initial enquiry/notification of interest or the final nomination where you're given 600 points? In any case, either you're worried for nothing or I don't understand your situation well enough. If you get ITA before your PNP nomination, you go ahead and apply. On the hand, if you get nominated by your province, you get the 600points which guarantees that you'll get ITA in the draw following the nomination. And finally, it is not true that once you get nominated you'll no longer be qualified for the next FSW draw.

Hello guys, long time ago , I once applied for a student US visa about 4times which were denied through a travel agent in Nigeria who advised me then to use different infos on my port in order to secure the visa. I finally secured a Schengen visa .On getting here , I corrected all the infos on my port at the Nigerian embassy , got my resident papers, got married with a kid . Now we are in the express entry pool awaiting ITA. I plan on being transparent to IRCC concerning my US application and the false info I gave for the Us visa application in order to avoid misrepresentation. What do u think would be IRCC’s stand on this issue ? Thanks

You may have to request for your ds160, probably you filled out the form as married when not. Request for FOIA. Don't shoot in the dark or apologize for what you don't know. Don't be combative too.

He has a C.E.P.E (Equivalent to Nigerian School Certificate). He owns shops. He's into spare parts. So, obviously, he hopefully intends to do menial jobs as a non-skilled individual over there. there is no visa for non skilled individual from Nigeria. Canada only has temporary work visa For agricultural workers from South America or Caribbean countries.

I relayed this information about me to two immigration lawyers who sort of counsel people on how to get to Canada. The first one suggested that I retake the IELTS exam and aim for bands 8 or 9 OR just learn French and write the test for French.

The second immigration lawyer said I should use the PNP to bridge any gap between my application and the cut off mark.

At this point I'm confused. I know I don't want to retake the IELTS or even study any French. I just want to go with the PNP as I have read about it a lot here but I need guidelines on how to go about it.

Any other suggestion is welcome.

What is your CRS score? To be proactive, retake the English test only and aim higher; to be ive or completely take the race off your hands, do nothing and hope on PNP.
