If you are on X copy and tag reno Ignorance is bliss. Nobody can build a government school from scratch in the East. I don't know where you reside in Nigeria but let me give you a little run down of igbo education system. Anyone can also copy it to that Reno post on X. There is hardly any village. Mark the word "Village" not town that doesn't have a primary school and a secondary school in the East. So if every village has a primary school and a secondary school before the time of Obi, where would he had built a school from scratch? For the record, most of the government schools in the East were not built by government. They were built by the villagers. They are three schools in the east: those built by the village where it is resident, those buildings by the church and those built by the government. The majority are those built by the villages. Nigeria is largely populated by miseducated graduates and semi educated people because it beats my imagination why we take development to be all about the setting up of structures rather than the setting up of structures in collaboration with adequate policies for the efficiency utilization of those structures. There is a picture of the recent commissioning of school buildings by the former governor of Abia state now the senator representing Abia north. What did he commission? A single building because there is where you will see a school that you can build from scratch. Yes! Many schools in the East especially in Abia state have dilapidated structures due to the neglect of the state governments and lack of interest by the host communities due to the entrance of private schools in the system. So it's ironic to judge the educational system of the igbos from the view point of someone every single school in his state was built and ran by the government. Ask Reno what his father told him about what PTA money was used for? PTA money in the East was used to build and renovate school buildings. I believe strongly that the idea of PTA funding originated from the Eastern part of Nigeria. The new generation of Igbo doesn't know that the Igbos started crowd funding. Ninety percent of the school in the East were built by community crowd funding long before Obi became a governor. Reno knows one can provide a picture of any school built from scratch in the East because every community has a school in the East before democracy in Nigeria. People looking for such schools because they saw money is involved are Internet citizens of Nigeria and those who live in certain part of the country where government baby feed them with development. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Peter built and renovated many primary, secondary and tertiary schools to international standards. Equipped them with modern equipment such as computers and school buses. His works are all over the place for verification. Forget politics, Peter Obi is not a typical Nigerian politician that uses projects to loot funds like many do. Go to Imo State and see schools and hospitals built even in bushes in every community by Rochas's istration; the buildings are dillapidated and cannot be used because they are substandard white elephant projects used to loot money. When the righteous rule, the people rejoice but when the wicked rule, the people gnash their teeth. May God Almighty bless Nigeria with good leaders.

You are a bloody lair. There are many towns in the East without secondary school. Stop sounding like a low budget researcher. To bust your lie. What's the number of town and villages in the South East compared to numbers of secondary schools owned by the government. You don't have to write all these lies just to defend Peter Obi, a mediocre politician with poor records 20 Likes 3 Shares |

Peakdesign23: It is not about him being wrong or right but feasting on the new generation ignorance to create a larger than life presence on the Internet space. I saw the record of the PTA money of the primary school school in my village and what the money went into during the time my father chaired that organization. |

Ttalk: Maybe I should give you the Reno challenge to go on this one. Most villages which are a stone throw had their separate schools. It was a challenge then. I am not talking about Internet challenge or Internet citizens 4 Likes |

Most of the electricity in the Eastern villages were funded by those villages without government input. Most of what they call development in the East were community initiative and funding. If the generation of the previous Igbo still exist, they would have been no untarred road in the East of government gave their consent. Most of the roads in the East were created by the communities yet government can't even tar them. 3 Likes |

The challenge says school and from your write up Anambra state is littered with primary and secondary schools. So what stops him from building Technical college or vocational training centers? Abi those ones too are surplus in the same Anambra. Make una continue to defend your fake agulu messiah. Beautifulday: 3 Likes |

madridguy: If you read my write up you will see where I said structures should be built alongside good policies for its efficiency. When I went to secondary school, my friend went to technical school. The only technical school I think in my area. I think there was one technical school per local government then. That technical school has cease to exist. During Obi time, I think he handed some schools back to the church then. Do you know why they hand school back to churches in the East? School yapa! I said nearly every community in the East has a school. Do you know what that means. The funding, the management, the policy utilization, etc. affect the efficiency of those schools that many are closing down. We build and start creating policies in Nigeria when it should be the other way round. No new school is needed anywhere in the East. What is needed is good policies, effective management, prompt payment of workers, regular workers training and more. |

madridguy: Technical and vocational institution didn't last in Igbo land. I think largely because the Igbo culture of training is learning as you serve a master (Igba boi). I don't know if you have, you serve the person you want to learn his trade or craft until he certifies you good to start your own and he sets you up to start with all the resources you need. I said most of the schools in the East were built by the communities now being managed by the government but government can't manage it well because of lack of good policies. Those schools existed at some point but died because of bad policies. |

madridguy: So since all the villages has schools, it's also mandated the will all have Technical and vocational Institutes. Omo anybody ing APC really does not have sense. For your information He built Ansu Igbariam from scratch. He also built the new Amaku General teaching hospital from scratch. Before you m0r0ns come up and say that they have been existing, maybe He should have left the old site and rename the ones he built as Peter Obi general Teaching hospital just exactly the way your favs would do |

madridguy: An Igbo man doesn't engage in a business without market. Obi or any governor in the East cannot build a public school what they can do is renovate already built school. We done develop that level since. Nah good policies we they ask for now. We build what we need without government input. Government come to manage what we have built. From school, to road, to health care, to electricity, name it. No government in Nigeria that will tell you 50 percent of what I mentioned in the East were done by government. All were provided by the communities. |
