If the sad incident had occurred in Lagos, you would have seen the obidence and their master on all media outfits wailing, blaming Sanwo Olu, Tinubu, Lagos and the Federal governments for the avoidable deaths. …waking up a day and surviving in Nigeria is a great miracle. Our Governments do not care. How do u even explain that a government cannot enforce the compulsory use of a life vest for marine engers? In sane societies, its a lifestyle to use a lifeguard onboard any marine vessel and there are marine police to make sure that violators are brought to book. Everyday, we wake up to avoidable tragedies involving loss of lives, when ordinarily, they would have been preventable. Africa and Nigeria needs another 200years to be able to do things right. Because people who does things the right way in this country are seen as mad people. Do a public survey, u would understand what i am saying. Rip to the lives that has been cut short in their prime, simply because they were born Nigerians. Pathetic!

That's one of the areas among many others where the West is ahead of many Africans.
They learn swimming right from when they are children. Swimming is a skill which is supposed to be learned as early as possible.

It seems they didn't allow him to be taken away to the hospital, that's why he died. They might not release the corpse, they are buried by the River side.
