Sorry AntiMCU, not sure why my previous post got blocked. I'll rewrite it below, hopefully it doesn't get blocked again.

According to the government's latest occupation codes and going rates, the lower going rate for code 3314 (which applies to you as you got your CoS before April 4) is £35,000 (17.95ph) while the standard going rate (for applications on/after 4 April) is £30,960 ( 15.88ph)

This is very odd because the lower rate is supposed to be, well, lower than the standard going rate and I think this is the case for all other occupation codes apart from 3314. Therefore I wonder if there's somehow been a mixup in the numbers and the lower rate should actually be £30, 960

That is exactly the issue I have with regards to my occupation and application.

The salary I have quoted on my CoS is £30902 when application was submitted and according to the transitional rules: it's either £29000 or lower going rate (whichever is higher). In this case, the lower going rate of £35000 is higher than the £30902 quoted on my CoS.

Also, another way I'm looking at this is that I qualify for the new entrant since I am transitioning from my post-study visa which according to the screenshot is below so 0.7 * £35000 = £24000.

I'm just trying to envision how my application will be treated to avoid a refusal.

It's better I withdraw my application and plan with the remaining time on my post study than the application is refused and I am told to leave.

You wouldn't be asked to leave if your application was refused as you're still on a valid PG visa.

How long do you have left on your PG visa?
If more than 1 year, it might be worth getting a new entrant visa as that would give you around 3 years more?

Would your new employer agree to issuing another CoS indicating new entrant and with revised sponsorship dates?

When I considered the £35 per hour, my wife and I had to hatch a masterplan.........

I bought a Honda jazz, insured it (plus added Collingwood L insurance)...... Took her on intensive
lessons, when time permitted (considering our work schedules + her university lectures), we just had to make it fit...... We still have the Honda Jazz, so her siblings would resume their lessons, within a few months etc etc ......

We paid an instructor 6 lessons (to smoothen all the rough edges)......

Anything can be achieved with sacrifice, good planning and dedication........😀😁

I am picking up my elderly parent at Manchester Airport soonest. I want to find out, please, any advice on the most cost-effective parking options available near the terminals and ways to minimise the parking time (besides live tracking of flight). The cheapest I could see online is an average of £12 per hour at T1/T2 multistorey carpark.
Furthermore, does the airport offer any services to help engers with baggage collection and trolley pushing to the arrival gate, particularly elderly with mobility limitations?

Any driving situations or penalties to watch out for at the airport or en route? I appreciate any other help you might have. Thanks
