If only that Ajaokuta steel mills are located in Onitsha, na big industry that will be very profitable. That Ajaokuta is off from most major development hubs.

These are big popular projects. If you visit each state of the country and see the total number of projects abandoned in this country, you will weep for this country.

As for me, I have no fvcks to give. I just pity Niger Delta people whose lands have been destroyed and water contaminated for the money that will end in someone's pocket or projects that will never be completed.

Those monies have been shared and utilized at individual level. Fantastically corrupt for a reason.

Lies. Who are they deceiving that they spent all these amount. I swear on my life the didn't spent 20% of the money they are writing up here on the projects. 80% of it is in their own bank s for personal use. Useless mofos.

The amount of abandoned projects and wasteful spending in Nigeria is very crazy. If Nigeria had sane leaders, she would have been a first world country. It's insane how the country is retrogressing further into poverty and oblivion.

The only reason they abandon those projects is so that a previous government won't take the glory...

But, true leaders don't mind who takes the credit, their concern is to get things done.

By the way, what we've always had is politicians and not leaders...

That dredging of River Niger is the most stupid project there. Dredging the river for what? Just wasted billions of dollars on irrelevant project just for political reason. We have a lot of seas and even ports in South south states that dont even need any dredging to deliver large vessels, and can conviniently serve both regions of SE and SS. But NO, a landlock area must have sea port
Are we curses or what?

White Elephant projects are the conduits for embezzlement. Fortunately for the politicians, Majority of the Nigerian youths are only interested in tribal wars and aspiring to be PAs to these old rogue politicians.

Nigeria! The headquarter of wastage. No wonder Adelabu got the effrontery to utter that Nigerians are wasteful.

Nigerians are really learning from the government and Adelabu refused to see that.

Come to think of it, imagine if 20 to 40% of those projects are completed, Nigeria would have been amongest the equal of industrialized countries to be calling the shot in the international market.

Unfortunately, Nigeria case is like a father who have attained 40 years and insisted on being a fool their by upholding the infamous African proverb "A fool at 40 is a fool forever."
