However I think another etsako man would have made more political sense or Kabiru Adjoto if he must go akoko edo.

Omobayo was the LP house of representatives candidate in akoko edo last year, he couldn't pull any influence in his own election.

But they want to be twisting the story that Oranmiyan's dad was their son and there's no trace.

But I don't get why Obaseki would pick a labour guy as his deputy - particularly a relatively unknown figure.

If he wanted to pull the rug from Akpata, (who by the way I hear is not really that popular) he should have chosen a more formidable candidate.

The guy is well known in Akoko Edo. Obaseki is very much aware of that. It's a political move. He did it to erase Olumide from the Akoko area of Edo which I hear has a big population.
