You can't say he has no power to sack him. Buhari is NASS and NASS is Buhari, therefore sacking Emiefele needs just few hours NASS sitting then all will be history.
When GEJ removed Sunusi nobody expected it, they just threw allegations, manipulated the process and sacked him.

Just as I thought.
The blog that even carried the news sounds like one of those many run by a semi-illiterate who out of joblessness went into blogging and having not made it financially,as he dreamed,came up with this rumour,hoping to use it to create traffic,knowing there are many Nigerians out there that don't use their commonsense to question the authenticity or logic of what they read.
Much as this government is the most useless on earth,I for one have been a firm advocate of regulation of the social media,or in the alternative,laws to make it easier for people to sue for lies,defamation or slander made online and to get culprits severely punished.

Yes if Buhari wants The CBN governor gone he's toast but the news of him actually do so is fake and should be discounted. By the way President Jonathan erred in sacking Sanusi back then, he abused his presidential powers and we hope Buhari doesn't go down that route
