A BDC operator, Haruna Agege, in a chat with our correspondent yesterday said the local currency is expected to appreciate against the dollars in days to come. Even the Malam is telling people to dump the dollars they are hoarding as the naira will keep rising in value. 52 Likes 5 Shares |

No surprise to some of us who spotted the talent of Cardoso very early. Yemi Cardoso is Asiwaju's biggest and most valuable assets in this istration. I place him very far ahead of Tunji Ojo, Umahi, and Wike. The man got the hardest job in Africa and he's delivering. The most amusing part of his journey is how simply he corrected the rot in the CBN and out financial systems. Genius is simplicity. The heaster for a reason ![]() Wale Edun needs to catch up. We are on the right track - I've always said it. Some mumus will come to this thread to ask "why hasn't it reflected in the price of commodities in the market?" You people should ask your greedy and wicked market merchants and the importers, who will tell you they stocked their warehouses when dollar was very high - even those that haven't restocked since last year. At some point the FG will go after merchants who refuse to let their prices reflect the economy reality. EponObi: 87 Likes 8 Shares |

It’s coming down. It’s going to keep coming down. Upon our refinery commencing operations in two weeks time, the dollar is going take a final blow. I’m frustrated with having to wait for Dangote refinery to commence production 42 Likes 3 Shares |

Hopefully Naira will gain a very good strength 200 per USD. Government should set up a strong independent body for price control - Manufacturers in Naija needs to be checked, practically they are also contributing to the problem.

Yes for the moment it's not influencing d cost of goods and services expecially food and drugs. But in few weeks to come when they must have sold all the goods bought during d High inflation period, they won't have option than to sale at lower price since they would have bought at lower price too. Though Nigerians are naturally wicked to one another. 25 Likes 5 Shares |

Omoboricash:I keep telling people, a better Nigeria start with the people not the leaders. The leaders will be forced to do the right thing if the people do the right thing. The probability of good children changing their bad/ evil parents to become good parents is very high while the probability of good parents changing their bad/ evil children to become good children is low. 18 Likes 4 Shares |
