Same with Zenith Bank.

Saw it coming considering the total bills issued was far less than that of the initial offer

Invested with Gtb secondary mkt @18%, 357days. Just yesterday. Seemed a tad low.

I have been away from this market for quite a while. Has the minimum investable amount by individual investors been lowered so far? The last I was aware was when the minimum was raised to about N100 m or thereabout.

At the auction it's 50m except your bank of Fund manager is able to aggregate.

Emmasoft please why is SFS still very low? 12.5% is an insult! 😡

SFS fixed income fund and other mutual funds will gradually have their rates increased as long as the MPR and Tbills rates remain high but this will not happen immediately. As revaluation of underlying assets continues the high rates will relect. it used to be 11.05% few weeks back.

Expected coupon payment from agbalaka bond on the 13th of March but it failed to come and no explanation.

Please does anyone know of any adverse updates or actions to be taken to recoup money if payment fails.

Thanks

For those who have invested in the secondary market, were you paid the interest upfront just like it's done in primary market

Or is everything held (capital + interest) till the end of the tenor?

Alagbaka not Agbalaka
https://thenationonlineng.net/firm-floats-n4-2b-bond-to-build-ondo-power-plant/

The turbines were just delivered in December (https://independent.ng/power-ondo-ag-gov-aiyedatiwa-to-take-delivery-of-n7-8bn-worth-gas-engine/) so not yet operational. Paying coupon from financing cashflows could be a mini-Ponzi.

On the other hand, the ultimate Guarantor is the Ondo State Government so there is your recourse.

I believe RayRay06677 asked a similar question in September, and later confirmed the coupon is usually paid a couple of days late.

Thanks, coupon payment is been delayed this March. The fact that it was backed by a state government made me invest.

It is done normally like the former plus there's an option for the latter. Your choice.

I guess no one is going for secondary market this week cos no rates is being shared on here. Next week's primary bid things then

I opted to reinvest my interest and then get everything back at the end of the tenor

Without being technical, no much difference. People opt for primary market for highest juiciest rates possible. Secondary market offers slightly lower rates
