One of the items I bought recently has been on custom clearance since 21st of Feb while one also that was on custom clearance on the 24th has been delivered. And both items cost $10 each. I don't even know what to do if I should still be hopeful?

You guys need to exercise patience when ordering on AliExpress.
Custom clearance in some cases may take 2 days, some other time 2 weeks.

Discount expired cuz it's no more valid at that point in time. You've got no control over discount(s).

How do you want to send a package without your details showing? Order directly via AliExpress or send through a courier company? If it's the former, all you need is the recipient details; AliExpress won't need your details here. If it's the latter, your details will definitely show should there be need for d return of the package to the sender.

- would you advise using post offices as receiving points, or what's is the best options.

I would not really advise anybody to be importing at the current dollar to naira rate. My advice would be to wait a little bit to see what happens to the exchange rate then Noobody.
It might prove difficult to turn over a profit in the current economic climate especially if you are just starting. A seasoned importer would know what and when to order so stands a better chance.

If you have a penchant for some risk taking, you can try what I once did in similar circumstance. I refused to pay the duties and the package was returned to sender. I filed a dispute and got refunded. While this stunt may not end up as mine did, it's just something worth considering should you see paying this hefty sum as something you can't do.

Thanks. I ended up paying the 306k. Just wasn't ready for the hassle. Big mistake not checking the shipping method before paying. Never made that mistake in all my years with Aliexpress. Never again.
