I have been trying to WhatsApp over a week now. They keep saying sorry we can't send code to your number try again in 1 hour time.

Please I have tried every possible means and deleted the app and re install it again same thing, I have cleared storage and cache's yet still the same thing.

I don't know what to do I am tried. I called Glo customer care they asked me to send allowed to 2442 yet no progress.

Try again in few weeks or you insert the sim into the phone where you installed WhatsApp for automatic verification.
Insert only one sim in your phone i.e d one u wan use to get otp. Uninstall and install Whatsapp.
Sometimes it do works for me

Op, put the whatsapp no in a small phone, they will surely send you a verification code. Pls update me once you do it

That particular number has been blacklisted..!
You can't open Any Social media with it, not only WhatsApp tho..!

Try using another number..!

This happened has a result of you once used the sim, you later uninstall the app without deleting your . Your number is still active in their data base.

You should have delete before installing their app. Now you have re-install the app

U logged in ur acct. on anoda fone.
Go back to d previous fone u last logged in.
Mine lasted for more than I week, I went back to my prev. Fone, battled with it for hours and I got back successfully.

Omoh. This was my Problem about 3days ago, I just rectified it today.. I bought a New phone and Gave my wife my former phone to be using because her phone is outdated infinx hot 8.. so my former phone I gave to her which is an Infinix Smart 7 Pro, I just deleted my watsapp there as normal so that she can install a new watsapp and her own Watsapp details... But when I Watsapp on my New Phone [Techno] I tried logging in my watsapp but they were not sending me Verification OTP. Whenever I get to time of OTP,it will say something like"Can't Send Verification code to my number, wait after 1 hour and try again" if I tap to receive a Call, it will say same thing can't call me wait one hour I was frustrated I tried many things no way.. so I went back to my former Phone, the Infinix I gave my wife and opened my Google in the phone because both my Google acc and my wife's Google Acc is now Logged in to the Infinix. as per say na her own phone now and one can't delete a Google acc from a phone (NB Not GMail oh, Google ) then I began to scroll and read everything on the Google Settings. I saw something like "Check Active Applications" on my own Google Acc in the Infinix. Then I tapped it. I saw all the apps in the phone that my Google acc is still active, I saw Instagram, Twitter etc and even Watsapp.. so I tapped "Watsapp" and then I saw something like "Delete Data" then I tap it. And the watsapp disappeared...
Then I came back to my new Phone, the Techno Camon, and then I Waited for the 1 hour to count finish and then I Delete the watsapp in the new phone, Install it again, my watsapp and generated Verification Code, they now sent OTP for me. That's how I Overcame it....
I wish Success to who ever this may help!!

Also make sure to set the SIM card you're trying to add to Whatsapp as default SIM for calls and SMS if you're using dual SIM phone.
