Nahhhh...... he's 29 already, I'll rather invest more game time in the like of paz and guler than sign him, or rather tell Calafat to scout another midfielder for us.

Even if he comes, he just can't start, as he'll most likely prefer to play the RM which is Fede's position, so it can't work.

If this Barka vs Napoli game was a la liga match, the ref would have manipulated a penalty for barka during the closing stages of the game

Guler and Paz ain't deep lying playmaker. In fact our current crop of midfielders don't dominate games without Kroos (the evidence is clear this season). Kroos and Modric are the only good DLPs in our current roster so Kimmich buy makes sense. Guler and Paz will fight for minutes upfront in any of the attacking positions or AM role. Also Kimmich just clocked 29 so we can easily get 4-5 years from him, and he is one of the best available DLPs around. A No Brainer transfer IMO if the price is right.

For your last sentence: Kimmich will slot in easily in Kroos current position should the latter leave this season. Kimmich - Tchouameni - Valverde works perfectly for this current system with Bellingham in the AM role as a diamond 4.

Same here. That was how same set of Madrid fans were always hating on Asensio but giving love to Hospital-merchant Hazard for much of 2020-2022, until it became clear that Hazard was a bona-fide flop. Go back to 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons, you will see their posts clamoring for Asensio to be binned but giving excuses for Hazard to get another chance (swears, I was furious then). Now same Asensio is still balling in PSG while their MCM is retired.

We have seen what Rodrygo can do and the boy has loads of receipts of his world class ability. But you’re hyping other players who haven't done shit for our team (likes of Brahim, Guler, Endrick) over him? Clamoring for new toys is normal for kids, but a wise man would always trust his old guards over unproven ones that could easily turn out as flops. Thankfully, Don Carlo is a wise old man so he will always stick with Rodrygo .
