Quick question on behalf of someone:

I'm currently enrolled in the Practical Nursing program at Georgian College, Ontario for the January to April 2024 semester and have been accepted into the same program at a Lethbridge college in Alberta, starting in September 2024. Is it permissible according to IRCC regulations for me to end my studies at Georgian College after the first semester in April 2024 and wait until September 2024 to begin my studies in Lethbridge? Specifically, what steps should I take to ensure my study permit remains valid during the break from April to September?

I'm changing school and province cos of family unification.

I learnt there is a transmission fees if you are submitting to a different Visa Office other than where Bio-metric is done.
In this case, Bio-metric was never done as they are below the age requirement but my Statement of Purpose was address to the Lagos Visa Office, though upfront medical was done in Abuja

If this company want to offer you a job, they know what to do, they are just stressing you. They would have given you a LMIA job. The truth is you can’t apply for work permit because you are not eligible to apply. I might be wrong sha o.

Also I have paid first semester fees and I submitted my biz acct as source of funds , my personal acct and spouse acct as POF in my first application

Now for SOWP , looking at just submitting spouse personal acct as he has bulk of the money in his acct to cover for him and our 2 kids

Will this fly ?
Or can I still show by submitting my biz to show part of source of funds ( has good inflow and outflow ) and my personal acct ?

Nobody really has the answer to that. So far your application is still within the processing time on the IRCC website you just have to continue praying and hoping for the best. But if it has you can start raising webforms and emails.

The impression they have about Nigerians now is terrible. This is from a reliable source. You may be asked to present the evidence of payment of full tuition fees. Somebody is now in a serious soup. He submitted the SOWP for his wife. IRCC is now requesting the payment of full tuition fees or else the already approved Study Permit will be revisited and reviewed. Canada is not smiling now

I don’t know why IRCC wants to divide people’s home. There’s nothing bad having the intention to work and your spouse. They should focus on the genuineness of the marriage as they have been doing.

I am sure when the new law enters into effect, the requests already submitted prior to the date will still be processed... I pray that it will be alright with our SOWP!

I am also in the same situation with you. My spouse is enrolled in undergraduate program and has started classes in Canada already.
I have already applied for SOWP around December. Hope this new law about SOWP won’t affect anything.

I noticed that IRCC pays more attention to applications involving a child. ie. A spouse applying with a child. The child is a strong way they know the marriage isn’t fake and child needs both parents.My opinion though.
Any contribution?

They will eventually answer everybody they’re just slow and nobody knows why.

This is not about breaking marriage or genuiness of marriage. Canada is in a serious problem now. The Liberal Party that is in control is at the verge of losing the next election because Canadians are very angry with them with the rise housing cost and unemployment due to the influx of foreign students, foreign workers, and their family . Besides the POF my spouse and kids are using is more than what I used for my POF and I actually still use my funds for business , so I still have my funds on me
