1: Can I get away with printing less than 6 months statement for my salary ?
Response: Ordinarily, what is common is to submit a 6-month bank statement, but I've read here about people who submitted 4-months bank statements and still got approved. Below is what is on the UKVI website:

financial documents showing that you have sufficient funds available. These must clearly show that you have access to the funds, such as:
bank statements which detail the origin of the funds held
building society books which detail the origin of the funds held
proof of earnings, such as a letter from your employer confirming employment details (start date of employment, salary, role, company details).

Secondly: You can actually submit your application the same month of the graduation, just fill the form and fix your biometrics to like 3weeks before your exact travel date, then your bank statement a day before your biometrics. What I personally do most times is: I all documents needed after fixing a biometric date but I don't submit them, this is to make corrections in case of mistakes and corrections, then I submit the night before my biometrics. I hope this is understood.

I applied for UK visit visa but got denied. Later in September I got a Kenya visa and I went for a conference there. I later applied for a Turkish visa in October for a conference but got rejected (all the Nigerian scholars got rejected).

You can go ahead. My husband did 5 years after 6 months and so did two colleagues. Someone here also did 10 years after 6 months. You’ve gotten 2 X 6 months so you should be good.

Pay stubs in addition to the statement, please. Don’t risk it!

I do have a valid ten year canada visa(unused) in my new port and an about to expire 2 year US visa(which i never used) in my old port,

I would do that

First of all, February to July is 5 months; not 4. That’s an awfully long time. I would advise you keep it to the minimum you absolutely can. You’ve gotten the visa so that’s good but let’s hope they don’t get strict at renewal point because the US does this; they question people who eventually stay longer than claimed on the form and they’re expected to provide a solid reason so be ready for that; incase the UK starts to track and audit these things.

Buy a flexible ticket with a one month return date and then you can change it.

stick to a changeable ticket of less than 2 months. When she gets to your house comfortably, then you can change the ticket.
Ps- she will be asked how long she is staying for first and some officials proceed to ask to see any return tickets. Please no lies at the border. State exactly what’s on the ticket.
And also February to July is 5 months not 4.

@kunleop this is what is called penny wise pound foolish. Is the cost of changing flights equivalent to a terrible border experience for a 1st timer like her who stated 1 month on their visa application and appears at the border stating over 4 months?

4.5 months, nonetheless. The cost of the date change and flexi ticket should be your smallest worry. Your priority is that she makes it through the border and is not deported or detained like some people. Do not complicate issues; it's best to spend the extra cash. If you want, you can make the date change the day she gets to your home. Goodluck!

I work with an NGO as a staff, our contract ended in December but was renewed this month but as a consultant for three months normally in the NGO our contract is renewed quarterly even if you are a staff but I have been with this particular organization for over a year. It's too early to start panicking since your application was submitted only 15 business days ago.

Hopefully you might get a pickup notice by the end of this week or early next week.

You’ve heard from the horse’s mouth, and I don’t think there’s anything else you can do but wait.
