Greetings my people!

Please do non clinical roles (IT to be specific) in the NHS require IHS payment for visa application? Or maybe I should rather ask if all roles within the NHS are exempt from IHS. Thanks

Non clinical roles, which includes IT, falls under the Skilled worker Visa. Therefore, requires IHS payment. However, you can apply for a refund every six months irrespective that your role is non clinical, and you'll be credited with 6 months worth of the IHS fees paid.

Lol. You don't have to. I ve gone doorknocking during the day and gone on to nights the same day. I was that excited about the candidate. She won so was worth it.

The labour party is in the final stages of finalising its manifesto.
In the UK , manifestos are taken very seriously. They are immutable and if a government does something that is not in the manifesto without calling another election, they become very very unpopular.

You can find the barebones of labour policies here

It's those South Easterners that have the capacity to turn Nigeria around today, the experience would definitely have been different if Peter Obi won. Definitely.

I respect the Igbo man's doggedness 100%

Dem dey try

Nobody mentioned South Easterners, you arrive at such a conclusion yourself.... besides, Your assertion would have been right if the Entire Southeast region were way better than the rest of the country.... considering the past and present governance.

Every region has political representatives from different groups at both FG and state levels...and they all failed the masses woefully and none of them are better only the politicians+cronies are getting the benefits of the country. Thank God you have "mildly escape".

We all want the best for the country irrespective of who is at the helm of affairs. So Let's not politicise and derail the thread further....

Let me correct something here.
1. There is no such thing as NECO GCE. When NECO conducted its first Exams in 2000, the 6-3-3-4 system of education was already very firmly in place. NECO conducts Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) but NEVER GCE. As far as NECO is concerned, there is no such thing as GCE. The GCE exams was long, long scrapped before NECO was even established.

2. WAEC used to conduct an exams called GCE, but which has been defunct for much more than 30 years now. The exams WAEC conducts now is the West Africa Senior School Certificate Exams (WASSCE). No such thing as GCE.

PS: Both NECO & WAEC conduct two 2๏ธโƒฃ Senior School Certificate Exams every year:
~May/June & June/July - Secondary School candidates
and
~ Sept/October & November December for private candidates respectively.

There is no such thing as GCE (anymore).

Back to your question:
YES! The UK recognises the Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by both WAEC & NECO.
Any more questions? Ask.

Thank you so much for this explanation, I really appreciate, we are relocating to the Uk and my daughter wrote the NECO Exam in November, so we wanted to find out if it is recognized in the Uk inorder to get ission into the University of A Levels as the case may be. I just need more light. Thank you so much.

She will need to open a profile with UK-ENIC to do an evaluation of her NECO results and for them to issue her a statement of comparability with UK's GCSE. Arrange a result checking scratch card, she'll need to provide one as they will result from Neco website. Service costs 64pounds.

Unlike our's with A1-F9 gradings, the standard here is 9-1 with 9 being the highest grades and 1 the lowest.

She's good to go once she has done the evaluation.

Hope that helps.

So those very occasions you're around, when you finished your shower and your MIL is still in bed....... Where would you change your boxers and cream your naked body..........๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜œ

Part of your requirements for a successful visa application, is accomodation suitability......... You would also have to submit your tenancy agreement, to MIL application....... I don't think the accommodation, in its present form is suitable....... But what do I know........๐Ÿ˜€

Abi you wan dey explain to home office, you go explain you go tire ...... No evidence.......๐Ÿ˜„๐ŸŒน

I did not add tenancy when my MIL applied. she got the visa.

You won't pay IHS if it's a cyber role.

The short answer is yes. I believe with the O Level, the child can go for A levels although id the child is too young, they might push back based on age. I heard a story of someone who came in and was being asked to her year grade until the parents presented her excellent O level result which they could not conter.

Being on the shortage occupation list doesnโ€™t mean you wonโ€™t pay IHS. Only means lower application fees.

The only time a cyber person wonโ€™t pay IHS is if they are of a sufficiently senior level that their occupation code is sufficiently high that their occupation code is โ€˜1181: health services and public health managers and directorsโ€™ which would bring them under the Health and Care Visa. Otherwise, itโ€™ll be the standard skilled worker visa and IHS will be payable, although they can claim refunds in 6 month intervals afterward.

Yes, see below NHS guidance:

Skilled Worker Visa

Applies to those roles not eligible for a Health and Care Visa (general Skilled Worker Visa) but sponsored by an NHS trust (such as IT and finance professionals, istrative staff, etc).
From 4 April 2024, new applications will need to meet the increased salary threshold of ยฃ38,700.
They will need to pay the increased immigration health surcharge (IHS) of ยฃ1,035 per year.

Does anyone know of there is any gov regulations or policy in switching visa.

Most employer do says they normally sponsor 3 months to the expiration of visa.

all effort to find this information on gov.uk prove futile.
