justwise:Thanks. It's a little bit confusing. People are saying it's until you earn £12,750 while to others it's if the annual pay from where you work will greater or equal to the said amount. The proponents of the former are saying if I earn £2000 a month, the tax man needs to wait till the 7th month before taxing me while for latter it's straight up from the first month since £2000 for 12 months will be more than £12750 annually. Please which is correct? |
abuhusna1: 11:40am On Jan 30, 2024 |
MeinKampf:Straight up you get taxed if your wages na 2k and then get a tax return at the end of the year |
justwise(m): 11:58am On Jan 30, 2024 |
justwise: How long have you been working? |
Advision: 1:24pm On Jan 30, 2024 |
MeinKampf: No, HMRC generates a tax code based on your expected income. So if based on your monthly income (£2,000), they project you'll earn 24,000 a year and as such will deduct an amount of tax above the tax free amount monthly 1 Like |

MeinKampf: If you earned less than £12,750 by the end of financial yr you will get all the tax you paid back. |

Good morning guys. DON'T use Klasha to make any payment for UKVI especially payment for IHS, Ukvi will pay you your IHS fee if you work in Healthcare while in the UK, the payment will be paid directly to the card you used. Klasha will not pay you if UKVI refunded, they are SCAM. BE WISE. 1 Like |

KINDLY TREAT AS URGENT. Hello house, 1. Does UKVI still grant visa to student dependants? I'm presently studying (Sept 2023 intake) and visa will expire next year January but I want my son to me since I and his mom are already in the UK. 2. IHS will increase on the 6th of Feb this year, is it possible for me to start his visa application and pay both visa and ihs fee even though POF is not ready yet? I have about 3 and half weeks to go and I'm thinking whether I should choose a Biometric date which will be after 30 days POF period. Any contribution will be appreciated. Thank you. @dduchess90 |

Hello Can anyone give a breakdown on cost of living, studying in university of Cumbria? I've barely seen anything that makes it worthwhile. Do they require pof before cas, do they do credibility test? Thank you |

Hello everyone. Posting this here for our gurus here to provide excellent advice as always. There is a certain Nigerian student that was privileged to travel to the uk to study for masters degree. Halfway into his study unfortunately, the Emefiele forex crisis of 2022 affected his tuition fees in Nigeria and he could not transfer his funds through the banks. He opted for the black market and was unfortunately scammed. He slipped into depression and this affected his academics. In the end, he dropped out and stayed until the end of his visa afterwhich he returned to Nigeria. Now, he is planning to go back to study for a different degree. What does he need to put asides his evidence? |

So, the whole of February 4, this thread recorded just one post ? This is serious!!. How quickly things change. Currently, the Oando rate is a whopping N1,613. In mid 2022, it was as low as N490 at a time. This is a huge lesson about life. Time waits for no one indeed. 1 Like |

Champay: Your story doesn’t add up and I hope that you are not going to repeat this in your visa application. If the financial situation in 2022 affected you to the point that you have to abandon your studies and return to Nigeria and now you want to return to the UK when the naira is stronger? Do you now have all the money to pay your fees in full and maintenance money? 3 Likes |

Is it safe to accept multiple ission offers from UK please?
|
Fraih(f): 1:55pm On Feb 06, 2024 |
BishopEmmanuel:Yes it is. Infact it is advised so because you have other plan B, plan C and Plan D. However, when you eventually decide, you pay your deposit for just one and then that particular school will process your Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS). 1 Like |
