The spouses of international students in other levels of study, including undergraduate and college programs, will no longer be eligible. for now, students in Masters and Ph.D. programs are good. if you need more clarification, just email the International Students Office of the school you plan to attend.

This particular question has been asked severally snd needs urgent clarification. I have even advised people to their school for clarification but none seem to have come so far.

To be honest, I don't know. However this is the definition of post graduate program from google- A postgraduate degree is a type of qualification that is completed after an undergraduate degree. Postgraduate degrees encom a range of qualifications, including masters degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas and Certificates, and PhDs.

Hello everybody. Recently I've been so confused especially because of my academics.

Last year, after completing WAEC and NECO, my mom and I were talking about schooling abroad and we decided that I should make some research with my phone. This research started November 2023. After making my research for about 2 months, to understand the educational system in some countries like US, UK, Canada, the Caribbean and Australia, I finally came to a conclusion in January that I wanted to school in Canada so I did further research on Canadian Universities and finally decided and picked University of Manitoba. And then did further research on how to get a Canadian Study permit. (After going through alot of things I saw on the IRCC website, I finally understood, at least to an extent).

So I discussed with my parents about everything and what the whole process entails: from gaining ission into a DLI and applying for the Study permit, I told them the tuition was about $23,000 estimate and that I needed at least $20,630 as proof of funds. And after hearing that, they said it was ALOT of money. My dad told me to calculate everything I needed to get there and get back to him. After doing the whole calculation with my mom, I concluded that 60M Naira would be enough for the tuition and other fees, POF, accomodation, flight and others. Meanwhile, I had already submitted my application (did it myself), it was just my application fee left. We didn't want to pay the $120 application fee yet until we were sure that we would do the whole process.

I discussed with my parents and they said it was alot but they could try to get it. I honestly believe that studying abroad is not a do or die affair but is there any harm in trying? We could try, maybe it would turn out to be one of the best decisions for me and my family. If not, I already have back-up plans (I ed for JAMB) Other than that, my parents have always wanted to sponsor me to a school overseas (I'm the first child so yeah they've always wanted it).

They could get the money but I wanted to apply for September intake 2024 (because it's obviously the best intake) and I think it's a very short time interval because I should have drawn a study plan at least 2 years before I wanted to leave. I feel like if I rush things, my visa could get denied and it would just be a wastage of time and money.

I'm just 16 years old, I'll be 17 by 16th of June, 2024. And I don't really want to waste time in my education because the clock is ticking. So I don't know, should I just wait till next year, September 2025 or do you think I should go ahead with the process this year. I need honest opinions because it would be really useful. Alot of you are pretty much experienced than I and my parents are, so your advice would be really helpful.

Also, if you know any way I could be able to get proof of funds and tuition (it could be through a loan) and get visa approval, please share.

You are on the right track with your ambitions.

For an undergraduate degree, you will need to show first year tuition and funds to cover your living as well as show that you will be able to cover same for the subsequent years of your studies.

While looking at canada, you should also look to the US, and Europe.

Europe without any doubt would be over 50% cheaper. When you are done there you can then move to US, CANADA, AUSTRALIA or the likes for a masters and possibly to live.

Good news guyssssssssss, it's PPR for me - Student visa, for my husband (SOWP). We applied alone, no agency. We applied for the family the same day. We got approved in under one month. We are waiting for the children's PPR.

That's exactly what I know although I emailed Fanshawe and they're stating that post graduate to IRCC simply means Master's and doctorate's

If this is really so why would their website state not just Post graduate programs but also specified master's, PhD, and other Post graduate programs

As a 16 years old your chances are of approval are high if sponsored by your parents. Parents will show total cost for first year and must show means of sustainable income for subsequent years with proper documentation including employment letters, pay slips, bank statements, letter of sponsorship, affidavit of etc if an employee. Relevant documentation like business registration etc etc will be required for business owner. You can also include assets like properties etc
