To the political analysts and economists on this platform, what is the economical benefits of the United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken's visit to Nigeria? The US presidential election is just around the corner, any clout chasing trips by politicians is expected (except this is otherwise). For years, they take our crude oil to refine and sell to us without considering setting up refinery in Nigeria to create jobs for us at least. They're all against climate change and pollution, but having oil refinery isn't one of their many theories. Thanks to Aliko Dangote for the foresight. They act like they're helping us but deep down it's business as usual😡 |

The US is looking at opening FOBs in coastal states of West Africa after Russia chased them out from the Sahel. The idiot Blinken is also desperately looking for at the UN for Israel's ongoing genocidal war in Gaza . His visit is of no good use to us as a country and I pray Tinubu wises up and tells Blinken to fck off . |

HitlerWasRight: Tinubu is very diplomatic. You know him, he is not confrontational, except if it becomes very necessary. Nonetheless, the US Secretary of State cannot make Nigeria to Israel attempt to wipe out Palestine from earth. Tinubu will also not allow a US military base in Nigeria, it will never happen |

Not everything in international politics has to do with economy. Some visits are just or diplomatic relationships. Tho we all know this one has everything to do with what's going on in Israel. |

Anyways Blinken is a lame duck Secretary of State in less than a year from now he and his boss would be kicked out of the White House.

HitlerWasRight: I'm looking to see if Ghana will accept to host one of their bases.... They will come with mouth watering offers . Nigeria may be able to resist.....but will Ghana? They cant even afford the mouth watering offers they used to cajole Some Sahel states to host their bases and with Russia and China not allowing them any foothold in Africa they are now desperate more than ever to open new fronts. They will approach many weak states with irresistible dollars and eventually have their way even if it's in Cabo verdo or sao tome/principe |

They’re always looking for ways to extort from us, because they believe that we’re vulnerable.

Rolings:US and the UK already have a base in Nigeria. It is located in Borno state. Blinken's visit has nothing to do with military bases. The US has not lost a single military base in Africa since your China/Russia allegedly chase them out. Are you sure you understand what is going on? If the US needs more bases, it will get it. |

HitlerWasRight: He can't tell Blinken to fck off, because Tinubu owe them for the fake certificates he is parading, they have come to payment, you sit there and if not for America Tinubu would be president, they look for people they can use, Peter Obi would be difficult, so Tinubu can't tell him to fck off, he is being held by the socrutom 😂 according to idaboski |
