I don't think so - cos I've used the same charger (on uncountable occasions) with the pixel 6 pro, oneplus 9 and a xiaomi phone. All fine till today.
Also never had issues with the Pixel 7 until I used that samsung charger from hell.

Type c chargers are the safest charging protocols in the industry now, I don't even charge via typec-usb. It has to be c-c on both ends.

usually i use a surge protector but my village people distracted me - i plugged direct
but then again, other devices were connected to the same extension. an iphone, a ps5 controller. both fine.
just the pixel 7 that died. till today - no sign of life at all.

A genuine charger should be able to regulate the amount of current that goes into your phone, the charger is fake.

The screen is just #100k or less on AliExpress. The phone is the 256GB version, not the 128GB that is common. I bought it less than 6 months ago. It only fell out of my hand.

Meanwhile, the screen is still showing, you can check everything required.

Please My pixel 6 pro screen too is damaged along with the fingerprint sensor I believe.
