The guy isn't very good at goalkeeping. Maybe ing out from the back, yes. But getting under shots and actually being a shot stoper, no. He's less than average.

Van Der Sar at Juventus was just a basket until Ferguson rescued his career and brought him to manutd.

Even at 98, Van Der Sar was just average for Holland.

Even Buffon at Juventus.. a superstar nonetheless but look at guys in front of him both at club and country but still he did let in quite a bit of easy catches.

Recall Kepa at Chelsea .. whom according to Lampard 3 shot on target = 3 goals which was true and he benched him for Mendy..

Now look at Kepa and Real Madrid , a better version of Kepa at Chelsea.

Victor Valdes at Barcelona was same.. less work to do, won many championship..
