Asking for a friend : Good day to all the Gurus in the house, please we are in a dilemma and need your help and contributions. We submitted application for spousal open work permit on December 2022 and a visiting visa for our 2years old son and till now we are yet to get a response from IRCC. Updated proof of was requested on May 2023 and it was submitted. Medicals was requested on June 2023, son's medicals was updated to June 30, 2023 Spouse medical was updated to July 08, 2023 and since then we are yet to get any response from IRCC. GCMS notes has been requested multiple times now and the notes says recommend interview for son , and eligibility ed for spouse. We have sent numerous webforms but no response sent mails and no response still. We have also ed the MP on November and he said IRCC said they will expedite the application. but as at of present no response. Please what next can we do . thanks |

There is nothing much you can do. call their customer service line (use viber). raise more webform, the MP again and again. hopefully you get a response soon. All the way you have been ing them repeat all process regularly GbemiBukk: 1 Like |

Is the primary applicant an international student? If yes, procure an updated transcript of the student and send to IRCC by webform. This would help. GbemiBukk: |

Thank you Jesus!!!🙏 Thank you all for your inputs too🙏 PPR dropped yesterday for my family after using two different agents because I didn’t have time and it led to denials. I had to sit myself to do the application myself with the help of God and you all…🙏 am just rounding up a 2yrs program, my final level. Date applied: November 14th 2023 PPR: January 16th 2024 Sent webform on the 14th of January at 12am Canadian time cos I know it will be around 7am-8am in Nairobi. PS: please dont use agent for your family application there is nothing like sitting yourself to do it. You will knlw the right documents and pictures to attach. Please what is the process submitting port at VFS. Should we book or take the ports to the UPS at the front of VFS center? 5 Likes |

Congratulations 🙏 just take the port to UPS close to the VFS. I think the cost is just 2600 or so

Congratulations @tinuowo. I wanted to ask a question. My husband put in an application on the 17th of November, 2023. You mentioned that you sent a web form. Was it to inquire or ask for a fast track of the application? I am asking because since we made the application, it has just been biometrics ed and background information in progress. Any advice?

Olatundeshosho: Thank you Although the UPS said my children will pay transmission fee of 17k each since they didn’t do biometric. |

Lindyadam: Yes I wrote an emotional note that I left my children most especially my baby( left him @9months) to come study in Canada….that I have left them for too long and I am missing them…I also attached my result up to 3semesters that I have done and my complete school fees receipt to show them that see oo I have completed my school fees… cos d reasons for there previous denials were insufficient Proof of fund. My advice, send them a webform, if you r in Canada target 12-1am to send the webform. Just write a note according to your situation and attach a document to show your progress in your study (just speaking from my lil experience) Even before the webform, I have called them severally but I realized those guys are just customer service agents there is nothing they can do from there end.. they will even tell me to send a webform. Above everything pray 🙏 your husband PPR will come through by God’s grace🙏 I hope this helps? 3 Likes |

Good afternoon everyone, I have learned a lot from the little time I've been here. Well done. My question is that my husband is schooling in Canada, he's settled and has an apartment. I am planning to apply for my open work permit so I can him. My salary is barely sufficient to show as proof of funds but my husband has enough funds to sponsor me. Please, will the new proof of funds policy for student visa application apply to him meaning does he have to show 20,000CAD alongside 5000CAD for me How does it work, please We are currently in a dilemma and confused. |

Hi everyone, We called IRCC from inside Canada on Friday with my spouse on the phone with me so as to give authority to release personal information related to her sowp application. The agent would not tell us exactly what was happening to her application just the basic things we know on the portal, nothing different. They told us that we will have once the visa officer is done with it and that they can't tell us as agent. However, we asked about which center is looking at the application and they told us Primary is RROC , that is the Rapid Response Operation Center and the secondary is Nairobi office. My question is what does our application being at the RROC mean? Application submitted 28th October with upfront medical which has not be treated. Biometrics ed November 10th. Anyone else experienced this Primary RROC and secondary Nairobi thing before. This is tiring. |
