Bandits are offshoots of Boko Haram that says it's fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal laws; the same Sharia criminal laws adopted by the political and religious leaders in the 12 far northern Nigeria states.
There shall be no ending to Boko Haram unless Nigeria is dissolved and the 12 Sharia states get their Arewa Islamic Republic. Nigeria's politicians know this truth but they are glued together by cheap cash from crude oil.

So with all the trillions budgeted for the army, they can't afford an unmanned combat aircraft or drones that could be used in scenarios like this in order to reduce casualties on the army personnel? All the did here was to scare away the bandits am not seeing any possibility of killing a single bandit in such show .

I don’t believe this video in any way. There is no order, discipline or fear in these soldiers. All of them are walking forward like they’re bulletproof. In a real scenario, everyone will stay low to the ground to avoid casualties.

I did not see coordination here at. See the commandant stressing himself to control his boys, at a point they even mistake themselves for the bandits. I guess that is how they end up killing civilians. Common binoculars, they don't have to look at far place for bandits. All I see is wasting of bullets to scare bandits away so that those ones can later come back.
