Hello Sooper, are you in Abuja please? My in-law has a 2005 Range Rover (upgraded to 2012, I think?) that's recently being giving him over heating issues.
Changed top gasket two weeks ago & that's also "burnt" now & he's at his wits end about what to do; the vehicle can be okay one moment (moves smoothly, no overheat) & the next moment, the transmission isn't responding then overheats and you've to park it.

Is it the BMW engine if it is the 2005 Range Rover? I am in Lagos. Ask him what type of Engine oil he has been using. Does the transmission shows the prnd light on the dashboard? When was the last time they changed the gear oil and which type of oil? Let someone check it out over there.

You are not too late to us. There is enough space. There is someone at Ajah that can make you stay put on the Island without the urge to come over to sunshine on the mainland where everything grows naturally. Note that you should always endeavour to wash your car and underbody regularly especially when it rains or you will still have to cross over to use fresh water to wash away salt from your car .His name on Nairaland is lejeun 3. You will be rest assured. But since you are driving a Range Rover, the middle name is go any where, above and beyond. Dangote fuel will start pumping in September and therefore no need for Octane Booster. We have waited since 2013 but while we were waiting, Audi, VW, BMW, Benz, Acura disappeared from the roads and are now safely parked in their owners houses. Oil destroyed many of our RRS because we were finding it difficult to get good oils and those who stood their ground are still driving their Range as follow come, 10 years after.
