You know why? Because of this stealing mentality that has taken over some people in such a way that even before they place order, they already see their item stolen. And whenever tracking updates don't agree with their expectations, the next thing is for them to start screaming "I don talk am, they've stolen my item!"

Gaskia, my tayad is tayad of them. We've been saying it that, delayed item(s) isn't always a stolen item(s). It could be wrongly sorted before departure, could miss it's way at the transit country, could be a tracking delay, could be stolen at point of entry, could miss it's way to a wrong location and delayed before rerouting, could be extracted at transit office or could be that receiver's details isn't clear on the label or extraction at last mile (which is rarely the case).

It's not even a NIPOST thing but individuals. Speedaf lost a batch(es) of package(s) last year, no one cried here. Someone just accused a Speedaf rider of package extraction 2 days ago, all "NIPOST stole my items" crew no yan anything.

I've sent and received over 2000 items via NIPOST and I only had 2 cases of missing/extracted items. Even some items that had no arrival updates were delivered intact.

Those people's level of insecurity ehn 🤷‍♂️

Best method os to own a dollar card. Alternatively, have a virtual card from your preferred fintechs. Chippercash, Klasha, Grey, Geekpay etc. I won't recommend but will advise you to do your findings and opt for one.

AliExpress Standard Shipping is either handled by Speedaf or PostNL or SingPost. The last two uses NIPOST as their last mile courier. You can't choose which one cuz a store that ships with Speedaf this morning might ship with PostNL in the afternoon. It's solely AliExpress prerogative, even some Choice items are shipped with PostNL/SingPost.

Take heed to jboixxx advice, and in addition to that, ensure that you chat with seller before placing the order and discuss with him on item declaration. Tell him not to declare the item as mobile phone or anything related . You can tell him to declare it as "phone accessories" or any other thing. That's all.
