I saw this late Sha, UK is pretty straightforward and so far you can defend your transactions with evidence, and you have a balance of like 15M that hasn't been touched in the last 28days, you will get the visa. You already have a business and they know you will come back
Saii, you know another issue was that I had issues with my cac and I never paid taxes
It was a 50-50 situation and I don’t want to taint my record with a denial that was avoidable, and the trip is not even urgent it’s genuinely leisure
Im just looking at the bright side, visited Alaba for the first time, got cheap goods and s.
I will try again in 6 months

You can follow people's advice. But I am still 100% sure that you will get it.

You posted recently that someone completed your student visa form & you only had to make the payments (indicating a lack of knowledge and/or confidence in completing the paperwork), yet somehow you are an expert on the intricacies of how visas for leisure travel work?

Hmmm

Don't be mean. Most of us learnt how to do this from our personal experience of how seamless the process is.

Being an expert on these things doesn't require a degree in rocket science. Anyone can advice as long as you have common sense.

And most of us will never provide blanket statements such as what the OP did.

100% guarantee for an application that needs review when you are not the VO?? As long as that's posted on a public forum, where tons of gullible folks visit, it will be highlighted.

Despite my over 50 countries visit, I was here last year to get advice for a UK visa renewal & will continue to with my knowledge, experience & expertise (including calling out problematic entries).

Its inconceivable that someone will spend 25 times their monthly income on 1 trip. People do it over here only when they are terminally ill(about to die)

You need to increase your monthly income . The ECO wants to see a steady inflow of money monthly (easily explained income) not irregular sums that cannot be explained.

In your next application you must show the ECO what changes you have made to improve your finances e.g I got a new job which pays significantly more than my last one or i started a successful business from which I pay myself a good salary ( heres the registration, tax records of this genuine business)

In this case I would give myself 1 year if not 2 years before re-applying.
Good luck 👍 in your next application.
sannies:
Good morning Gurus in the house, and compliment of the season.
I applied for UK Visiting Visa and I was refused. Pls advice needed on reasons for the refusal.

The decision
I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2-V4.6 of Appendix V because;
• You have applied to visit the UK for the purpose of visiting relatives for 21 days.
• You state you are employed with a monthly income of 242,993.58 NGN (£239.42)
with savings of 1,936,488.00 NGN (£1,908.00). I note you intend to personally spend
2,500,000.00 NGN (£2,463.22) and your monthly spending is 150,000.00 NGN
(£147.79). You intend to stay with your brother.
• In of your application, I note your salary statements, employment documents,
bank statement from GTCO ( ending Bleep) with a closing balance of
3,478,868.39 NGN (£3,427.69) and all other relevant documents you have submitted.
• I have acknowledged that your sponsor is willing to provide adequate for a
limited visit to the United Kingdom; however, it is your circumstances and intentions
which are paramount in assessing your application. The personal bank statements
you provided shows large cash deposits. I am not satisfied that this information
represents an accurate reflection of your personal circumstances because
your s show irregular deposits that are not in keeping with your stated
income. The information submitted with your application offers no insight into how
these funds were accrued. I am therefore not satisfied that you have accurately
portrayed your financial circumstances. This in turn leads me to doubt your intentions
and credibility in wanting to travel on this occasion.
• Furthermore, I note your monthly disposable income is 92,998.10 NGN (£91.63). You
therefore intend to spend more than 25 months disposable income. I am not satisfied
you would be willing to spend such a disproportionate amount of your disposable
income on such a short visit to the UK. This damages the credibility of your
application. I am not satisfied your intentions to enter the UK are genuine.
• The factors mentioned above have not been taken in isolation but considered
collectively. They damage the overall credibility of your application, leading me to
doubt your intentions in seeking to visit the UK for the limited period and purpose
stated. From the information on your application form and the documents you have
submitted, I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the United Kingdom or that you
are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is therefore refused under
paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c).

Thanks

Experience is important. Not anyone, but someone with requisite knowledge on a process and has been through it several times.

I also would it , that with my exposure on these things, i still come here for some recommendations from the experienced ones.

Next time, please stick to one source of income - preferably your 8 to 5 job. Also, keep your clean and devoid of transactions that cannot be traced to your job.

Your disposable income too low. That is the major issue. I don't see anything else wrong...

Build up your savings over a year or two and try again. Alternatively, your brother can offer to sponsor you 100%. That is usually dicey when you are young and have a regular income. The expectation is for you to sponsor yourself.

That’s what is most interesting.

All my income is 2 transactions monthly; both salaries.

All my expense is 70 - 90k monthly
Then the rest goes into my RiseVest Investment . That’s literally all that happens on the and it was declared in the explanation letter. The Dollar gets an interest of less than one dollar a month, no other income. That’s why it’s surprising to see all the comments, almost like they ignored the explanation completely, I have been to over 14 countries in the last one year including and the Netherlands.

Good morning house I am a first timer here, I have used the link for applying to the US previously so i decided to check for a UK Victor's visa link. The US link helped so I am sure I will get the help I need here . I applied in 2021 for myself and 3 of my kids my son is a US citizen and didn't need to apply however he was mentioned as travelling with us. We were denied because I made alot of errors in application. On the individual budget instead of splitting cost for each person on their application I wrote the total cost for 5 of us on individual application. I was the sole sponsor with 6m bank balance and other investments. My husband was to sponsor but at the time of application he didn't have money in his so I was sole sponsor on application. We were denied because I had huge sums of money going in and out of my I tried to explain in a cover letter. Long and short we were denied. All this story is just to give a back ground information. I observed the ECO raises issues on opening balance, your monthly expenses in vs disclosed in the form, your inflows(avoid any huge credits), ur disposal income, your intended expense for trip. It's alot.
Please I need advise on how to do the budget for a family of 5. I will sponsor myself my husband will sponsor the kids. How much will b reasonable as bank balance for submission, can a savings be submitted 4 the sponsor , do we need to provide explanation for the inflows( sponsor not applying he has a 2 years visa running)
Will a budget of 2.5m per person for 10days be ok? I will also like to hear from successful applicants.
Thank you so much expectant to get advise from any one who can help.

I have heard of people who got a 2yr visa on first try but they had extensive travel history to western countries.

If this is her first time, with little or no travel history, don't risk it. Go for the 6months visa.

Additionally, note that visa issuance is indeed at the discretion of the VO, so you might pay for 2yrs & get 6months (and no refund will be issued).

Unfortunately, it seems you might need to wait things out as there's no way to fast track the application now.

Hopefully you'll get a new date soon.

You could give your school a headsup (incase you need an extension and/or if they can UKVI from their side).

2.5M is fine. You don't need that much per person if accomodation and feeding will be provided by family or friends. Maybe about 2M each.

You can sponsor yourself and your children if you have the money and your statement of is more straightforward. When my children were younger, I sponsored them because my husband is a businessman while I have a good 8 to 5 job. There is no rule. Either of you can sponsor the children. Just ensure you can explain any money that reflects in your and you don't have any huge deposit that might appear as " padding".

Good luck!

Sorry about the refusal. Your multiple sources of income confused the case worker. They find it hard to understand why you have a regular job and a side hustle.

Next time, please stick to one source of income - preferably your 8 to 5 job. Also, keep your clean and devoid of transactions that cannot be traced to your job.

I hope this helps.

Another red flag:
Despite earning 2160000 naira a year, the OP intends to spend 2000000 on this vacation trip. This indicates that he intends to use all of his annual income for a vacation trip that is not going to benefit him financially.
