My 2009 Camry vibrates when accelerating and behaves as if the tyres are wobbling. I have 4 brand new tyres and have done alignment and wheel balancing on the car yet the problem persists. Please can someone advise on how to solve this problem.

If your pedal keeps going flat when depressed or you have to pump to have it up, then you have a leak or a faulty brake master. A bad brake booster, vacuum valve and vacuum hose will make your pedal hard.

I have to press hard to brake well. Unlike other cars that you just have to apply minimum effort.

So the new master brake is fake or what?

If the brake pedal is hard, then inspect booster, and vacuum line.
If it goes all the way to the floor then check for leaks or replace with a good brake master.

Infact it can't go higher Dan gear 1. It can't even reverse again. My mechanic said I shud bring it back . But I am scared of driving it back to d workshop so I don't cause more damage to d gear.

Unfortunately the damage has been done already.
Your best bet is scanning the car for transmission related codes (you'll likely get some solenoid codes) and carrying out a transmission oil flush while keeping fingers crossed.

Not for the faint hearted. Though profitable, but if you're not built tough and act tough you'll be bullied out of the business.

The power stirring has issue meaning is very stiff and to fix according to him will cost 35k.
And the cost price is at 1.5m.
Please is it a good buy and to fix all those things will amount to what price. Thanks.

When a seller tells you AC is bad or needs just gas, it's usually a lie from the pit of hell which might set you back 300 - 500k (or more depending on if you're going brand new or toks for parts) for complete overhaul. Same goes for the PS.

Transport businesses is not for the faint hearted (especially in a city like Lagos).
You just have to prepare your mind to succeed at all cost.

You can alternatively the Uber business. Uber will give you peace of mind and packaging that danfo can never give you.

Some mechanics advised i buy Borale engine but met another mechanic saying i should buy whole engine because according to him to get direct good Boralé that as not being tampered or worked on is rare


Please what is your take and is the boralé option not feasible

I will take a decently used , none abused, mild mileage automatic transmission corolla over it

Recently noticed my fuel consumption is astronomical.

Ltft shows above 23% on both bank 1 and 2.
Stft fluctuates between -5 to -9% on both banks.
No error codes but I can smell unburnt fuel in the exhaust. I haven't seen the car from behind so I can't tell if there's black smoke from exhaust.
My O2S voltage is also hovering around 0.6-0.8mv so I know I'm technically in a rich condition but the ECU hasn't thrown in a code yet.

Prior to this, I noticed some slight and almost unnoticeable response in acceleration especially with the AC on. My fuel gauge also has some delay when I top up gas and can take as much as 10-15 minutes to get up to the right level. Also, it can remain in one position for a while and then suddenly drop to the right level after some driving giving me heartbreak when I think I still got fuel.

I changed the air filter yesterday and cleaned the PCV and engine is more responsive but the fuel delivery is too high.

What do you think I could do in this condition?

You didn't state what car it is.
Check your injector nozzle to see if it's leaking or has a poor spray pattern.
