I reside in PH and I drive a 2009 Camry V6 Engine. For close to two months, my car has been dealing with me. I have tried several mechanics all to no avail. The car idles rough in drive mode but not in neutral or park mode, it does not shift smoothly and fuel consumption is so high. I have changed all 6 spark plugs, all ignition coils, catalyst converters and fuel pump all to no avail. I really do not want to keep spending hard earned money changing things with no result. Please help

From the link below. The issue is around coil 5.
Now check the harness/wire or swap coils to know if the issue will be at same cylinder

It is an easy fix

Mechanical work requires education in other to upgrade into new method of fixing problems. Most mechanic in Nigeria are illiterate. They only learn what they were taught by their master and apply it in their repair works. They lack new ideas.

Had same issue when driving, camshaft sensors were the culprit, after changing them, see peace of mind. And to see, they were so cheap. Toks
