But this news doesn't say anything about party or you read other thing that I didn't read? Benue National Assembly says Fr. Alia didn't carry them along and not didn't carry the party along.

Governors are the leaders of the party in every state

He would have won. People were tired of PDP and the candidate for the APC wouldn't have matched Alia's popularity and acceptance. The only thing APC can boasts of if Alia is not with them is the ability to rig and manipulate the results given if INEC is compromised

For now Alia is greater than APC because it took his popularity and his religion inclination for APC to have won many posts in the last general elections. If not him, APC would have been in vacuum in Benue state. The saving grace for other parties in the next elections is to field his kind, as to equalize his popularity and religion colouration.
Besides, from the news the party didn't complain about him, it is only the of the party and I don't think they constitute a whole party or are they of the Benue APC executives?
