The image I showed earlier about BONK is from futures trade, but the one below is from spot. I noticed in the spot, the 3 boxes were filled in a day.

I only use this method on futures. From today, I'll pay attention to the spot version.

I think using the word box is where the confusion is coming from. I should've named it the 4 wise lines.

You're welcome. All the info you need are online for free, especially YouTube and Tiktok. It's just that the info out there is too much and it's overwhelming.

It can even make people confuse and end up quitting. You just neet to take it a step at a time.

Any analysis on BTC? Sold some of coin so I can buy at a lesser price when BTC dips overnight. Now BTC refused to fall, rather it increased the price of the coins I sold.

Just for example, if the daily high coin price is $9, but now the price has dropped to aroun $3 region,

The lecture tells me not to attempt to make any short position because the price is at first wise box! If the price. Still moves from $4 to $6 it has just completed the second wise box, patience. Is still needed at these points too, but when it finally moves from $7 to $8.5 region then the three wise boxes has been completed meaning the price has approach the highest of the day! At these points it's saver to place a shot position using a reasonable leverage size.

Yes, but the thing is, exchanges are manipulative. Today, Binance could be the manipulative one, the next day, they won't and Mex could be the bad guy. Also, time zone of the exchange affects when it will break to another candle.

What I'm try to say is, my Front chart on Binance that same day is only two boxes, but yours is three in Mex.

If I were trading front on Mex that day, I may have shorted after every other checklist says go ahead, but if I were on Binance, I'll be scared to short because I'll feel we still have 1 more box to fill.

From today, I'll start cross-checking two to three exchanges to see if there is discrepancy in the number of boxes.

From my experience, I mostly start shorty after a coin has pumped 150%. Initially, I used to short when it pumps 50, 60, 80%, but they always pump it to 150% per day or even 177% and sometimes 200%+ when they want to liquidate millionaires and billionaires.

With this experience, I mostly start thinking of shorting after it has pumped at least 150% in a day and it has filled at least 3 boxes.

I still pay attention to and resistance and sometimes check on Coinank and Coinglass to see most liquidation will mostly take place on BTC and also the coin I'm trading, if it's listed on the apps I mentioned above.

Some other times, I don't check anything. I see 150% pump + three boxes checked, I short. While I'm already shorting, I now do my research to see when to jump out or if the uptrend will still continue to box 4, 5, and more.

The moment I notice it will continue, I use another to long or hedge with same just to protect myself. This isn't the end. number three comes to play, but let's leave that for another day.

Note: Exchanges don't use same regional time zone. Sometimes they allow you set the timezone you want to use. Singapore or Beijing is probably 7 hours ahead of Nigeria, so they could be on 17th of Dec. while we're still on the 16th. This little differences affect the candle, but no that much.

Zooming your screen in or out affects the numbers (prices) at the end of each line, hence affects the size of the box.

So, don't adjust it after you've clicked 1D time frame. See the numbers I'm referring to in the image below.

It's yet to do price discovery on binance spot.

I already advised against shorting the market.
BTC has been consolidating after eight weeks straight of an uptrend. I was expecting the $46K while the majority on X and Nairaland were calling for $30K. And the psychology of trading had taught me that the majority are always wrong, so I chose the opposite direction. BTC made it to the $45K.
The macroeconomics as a whole has been favorable to the market, the I report came lower than the previous, and the FOMC had been paused on the 3rd consecutive meeting as I expected. And the majority are expecting dip to dip, BTC may continue the uptrend after this consolidation. May, may. Or one devil candle, and GOD candle follows immediately.

Stop short I the market if you don’t have trading skills. You’d be shortchanging yourself. Allow your money to dip it’s part of the sacrificial process. We’re bull all the same.
