You can actually use the 0.01 on assets that have a minimum of let’s say 0.3 for example.
The lot size you will use will be 0.31, then when you go to close the trade, close 0.3 and you will be left with 0.01.

In the photo attached, boom 500 minimum lot is 0.2 but I opened a sell 0.21. Where the blue cursor is with 0.21, clean the 0.2 and you will be left with 0.01.

Seems if your stop loss is too tight when the spike comes, deriv won't even bother to calculate your actual loss, they'll just take the margin. Smart guys

@abham made a genius suggestion on managing your lot size.

do well to follow that for buys on crash 1000...you can enter with 0.30 then close 0.20 lot size immediately after entry

That way, with stop loss of 10 pts, even if it overshoots, you may lose about $1-$1.5 max

You know, I was thinking of the same thing. Place a trade with 0.20 lots and close 0.10 lots immediately.



Hopefully, one will not be unfortunate to get a huge spike immediately after placing the trade.

Risking $1 on demo acct, I hedged a position by going short and long.

See the result below...market overshot the stop loss by a far distance

This is why I said for risk:reward reasons...dex index is better unless you decide to focus only on catching the crash in crash index and get a system for doing that only.

After testing scalping on dex index, i'd advise you run far away from it if you want to scalp

Dex index is for day trading and not for scalping


Scalping on it will kill it will kill your acct faster than crash index if you use that 10 pts stop loss because a single bar on dex index can go 100 points against you in 5 minutes.


Just focus on crash and boom with the strategy in the video and normal chart reading for scalping.

Then apply the risk mgmt system

And this trade later reversed and hit my stop loss then reverse in my direction but no shaking.there is plan for it next week.wish I got time since the beginning of the month.i would have advanced on my competition .i started last week wednesday.the plan is to ensure I enter within 600 position next week.maybe I may be among 50 lucky winner of 6k

This is just a competition which am trying to use it to get a 6k reward with funded next and it end in 30 days.
On my normal $10 .i don't open more than one position with O.1 which help me to lose $2 when am wrong.i make $5 or more when am right.you can scroll up for evidence.i can't do this on personal .am not a risk taker which is affecting me.if am a risk taker.i would have gone far.

Yesterday is not funny but the loss as being recovered.

This make me when I use to look for holy grail strategy without loss.it took me a while to realise it doesn't exist. that same strategy that bring that loss on Monday is the same strategy that brought back the loss and double of the loss.

thanks bro i have to abandon other things i was and focus on the chart for the past a year and six months and by the grace of God my strategy is working perfectly well it's only to summon the courage and enter a trade but i will start today and tomorrow
