I feel very bad for my Igbo brothers here. Chai. Some are talking about very recent events. Mentioning Ekwmeku revolt of 1884. Revolt o, nothing close to war. We are talking about wars fought in 1750s, we are talking of real warriors, and empires that spanned the length of West Africa. O my Igbo people.

Firstly, Igbos were already great iron smiths hundreds of years before the British arrived our shores. It was even Igbos that thought yorubas how to smelt irons and construct weapons like knives, arrows etc. Google about Awka iron smiths!
