The biggest issue here is, Even if you are able to get a separate prepaid meter for yourself.

Be reminded that the prepaid meter automatically still belongs to the landlord. You can't take it away when you are leaving.

I am very busy tonight, I can't write much, so that where i will stop. Electricity issues is a very big deal nowadays.

You can do your due diligence with phcn officials for more information.
