stories stories stories...I'm very sure you haven't walked in his exact shoes for a month, and rather than shut up, you'd instead pontificate like you are special. Fact: some will always have it easier than others not necessarily cos they are better or better prepared. It's just life. [b]Nairaland will scream to everyone who can hear to japa like your life depends on it, and when you do and fall into some troubles, same Nairaland will say you no sharp, you I also know someone that just moved around the time he stated, only did Amazon jobs for two weeks and got the same kind of job he was doing in Nigeria, which is the role of a hygiene manager at a flour production company. Not necessarily like he has two heads, but was just at the right place at the right time and they needed him and there was a fit. If that person was at a different location, I'm pretty sure the story would be different. This guy is literally the only of mine who isn't doing a dead-end boy boy job, or gaddem carework. The OP has asked you advisors to link him to jobs if you can...he isn't asking for money. bro thank you for this reply. don't mind the hypocrites |

Travelling abroad requires patience and perseverance.. that is visa sponsorship job is best..because once u get that..ur flight expenses, ur accommodation, ur feeding all are covered even as u are relocating with ur family whether they are 4 or 6...don't be in a hurry because others are traveling..most of people traveling abroad has someone already there that will make their living soft for that moment..i noticed ed u never did a thorough research before embarking on ur journey.. if u fail to plan before moving , u have already planned to fail when u get there..there are so many opportunities out there..but because u lack research method that why u are suffering there..u are saying they said u don't have UK experience, if u have done a thorough research theru will know that u supposed to learn some skills, do some courses that has D accreditation which UK standard since that's the country u are relocating to, arrange to CV to their standard..because u can access 15m u feel u are good to go .Oga wake up

fullclub: Why not go to agencies, depends what city you are in. If you were in bradford there are numerous warehouse jobs. You can do warehouse your spouse can do care jobs they dont require any skill or qualification at all. If u have strength you can do construction but I think you have to get a CSCS card, cant how much it cost tho used to be 35 quid. Try indeed, totaljobs, monster jobs or just search job agencies around you online. £500 rent is not too expensive, is it for a room or studio? Also dont shop at places like sainsburys or tesco or waitrose. Shop at Lidl or Iceland (food warehouse), poundland and co, that will save u some money. Always look out for deals like buy 1 get 1 free etc or even reduced to clear items. They have lots of them in the evenings pastry bread sandwiches etc |

You can definitely get a job in a week , but don't worry any its Christmas soon so therell be plenty work. Go on gumtree urself, do u have any handy skills? Try Amazon I think the agency that handles Amazon jobs is pmp. Amazon gets very busy around this time.. Go to bus garages asking if they need cleaners. Where is ur location. When u say dependent, do u mean ur spouse?

Before, they use to come and hunt for us . Today, we are the ones willingly enslaving ourselves. Travelling all the way for a 25 million naira education, when universities like Alison can give you that free to pay later at the comfort of your home. Just because we're good at running away from problems instead of tackling it headlong. Africans need to wise up. |

You may not understand from which angle I look at the japa stuff. Do you know that if you study outside and with a good Course, you can be treated as an expatriate? If you know the difference, then you'll act fast. theamazonguru: |

God abeg. no let me get useless mentality of travelling out after I have gotten 15m-20m ooo. I wl rather use that money to start a business here in Nigeria ND be living like a king. |

jesmond3945:Not true. Location matters. I bought one of my lands in 2018 at 3.2m with documentations and all I spent close to 4m. As we speak, just 5 years after the land is worth 20m now. I won't argue with you on the subject of depreciation but I will reiterate the importance of getting your property in a nice location, not in one remote bush in Ilaro. 1 Like |

Taal17: Nice advice. I fell so many times. Kept going down in the Ponzi scheme. Until I learnt the hard way. It was a tough period. But I overcame over time. Now the story is different. People who didn't know me then would not ever imagine what I went through in that phase of my life. So I totally agree with you , you can always return and start afresh. Don't die before death comes because of shame. |
