I warning people a while ago to use logic before deciding to come to the UK, rather than the typical Naija's attitude of "We will cross the bridge when we get to it" No one is saying you shouldn't come to the UK but make sure you've paid your school fees in full before stepping foot on the plane and have some money left to sustain you for at least 9 months.

You CANNOT pay part of your school fees and believe you will be able to hustle for the balance on a 20 hours/ week job, especially if you're a solo student with no dependent but it seems people just want to get the UK visa by all means.

I've seen fully grown men and women beg for food, money and accommodation because they either can't balance their school fees or they arrived and realised there's no health care job waiting for them. UK is a hostile place to be if you're an immigrant and broke.

Hey man what would u advise someone with a fully funded scholarship (comp science) vs a remote job in Nigeria that pays 200k hybrid(based on Lagos) to report once a month… currently based in a cheap state ?

I also know someone that just moved around the time he stated, only did Amazon jobs for two weeks and got the same kind of job he was doing in Nigeria, which is the role of a hygiene manager at a flour production company. The business generates 1m naira and above after expensis.
You can't just wake up and scale a business under a short run when all input are not variable.

i started this process with 15 million naira then when naira nose dive i had to borrowed extra 15 million to top it with interest of almost 2 million naira. landed in uk, started seeing the reality on ground

Please if you are considering coming to UK for now.. please put on hold. the crowd from Indians, Pakistani, Malaysia, china etc is overwhelming.

i sleep in indeed and all this job site.. still yet nothing, bills mounting up.

all my colleague i came with are still with no jobs in other cities

after spending 13 million coming here with extra 3k dollars now almost exhausted chai

my thoughts was that i can pay my fees from that and use my 20 hours pay rent then anything my dependant bring will be surplus.

Travelling abroad requires patience and perseverance.. that is visa sponsorship job is best..because once u get that..ur flight expenses, ur accommodation, ur feeding all are covered even as u are relocating with ur family whether they are 4 or 6...don't be in a hurry because others are traveling..most of people traveling abroad has someone already there that will make their living soft for that moment..i noticed ed u never did a thorough research before embarking on ur journey.. if u fail to plan before moving , u have already planned to fail when u get there..there are so many opportunities out there..but because u lack research method that why u are suffering there..u are saying they said u don't have UK experience, if u have done a thorough research theru will know that u supposed to learn some skills, do some courses that has D accreditation which UK standard since that's the country u are relocating to, arrange to CV to their standard..because u can access 15m u feel u are good to go .Oga wake up

Why not go to agencies, depends what city you are in. If you were in bradford there are numerous warehouse jobs. You can do warehouse your spouse can do care jobs they dont require any skill or qualification at all. If u have strength you can do construction but I think you have to get a CSCS card, cant how much it cost tho used to be 35 quid. Try indeed, totaljobs, monster jobs or just search job agencies around you online. £500 rent is not too expensive, is it for a room or studio? Also dont shop at places like sainsburys or tesco or waitrose. Shop at Lidl or Iceland (food warehouse), poundland and co, that will save u some money. Always look out for deals like buy 1 get 1 free etc or even reduced to clear items. They have lots of them in the evenings pastry bread sandwiches etc
