adeblow: God bless you sir. I owe you a bottle of palm wine for this. It is nearly 8 years since I published a post here on Nairaland on why it is necessary for people to acquire practical skills. It is obvious the OP is totally skill-less. Tayo Aina the travel vlogger interviewed a Nigerian car electrician who now owns a massive repair shop in South Africa. His story is an eye-opener. Made 60 rands the very first day after he landed. He did not even have a place to sleep. We don talk talk talk, still they won't here. Japa requires strategic planning. I can't even understand how someone with access to N30m is thinking of leaving the country. To do what really? 12 Likes 2 Shares |

tensazangetsu20: Don't mind the bro. Just 1 month, I spent 5 months sleeping and waking up on No 10 Paerdegat street, Brklyn, NYC before I could land my security job at Bronx. This things take a process. My friend just relocated to the UK last year December and now he is a trainee Agronomist NAIB. Someone story may not be the same as yours. 1 Like |

Flesh10: It's a lifetime win Bro. January will make it 25years I've been travelling far and wide. And I've visited all the continents of the world. I never for once nurture the thought of settling in any of these countries I've been. I think it's stupidity spending 30millions to Japa to a country where you and your generations will forever be regarded as 4th or 5th class citizens. If all these people that Japa spend all these millions in Nigeria, I can bet 50% of them will be alright and do well in their fatherland. 6 Likes |

Don't judge with one man's story. People balling in uk don't post it here. What I will say is that you should just find out how others are applying for jobs and making money here. Here in the uk, you will barely see anyone having less than 2jobs. So for him to say him and his wife cnt get one. It's either you ain't doing something right or your village people are on your matter.

fullclub:Lol. You believe 25m naira is too much to be paid at once? Good to know. How much did you say you raised again just to travel? About 30m naira, right? I started business with 200k in 2014, I guess. My brother started with 100k at the same time. 30m naira and you couldn't go into distribution of FMCG! 1 Like |

Make una de reduce how una de hype white man country. It's not easy anywhere. Our own is just a little bit more difficult because of greedy leaders but it's not easy anywhere in the world 1 Like |

Why the hell would anyone travel on a student visa with all the family. You have to go alone first to establish a foothold before bringing your wife and children. 1 Like 1 Share |

This shows e no easy anywhere especially for those from thirld world country like ours. I believe if those foreigners hear the amount we spend to japa, they will think we are mad because majority of them no get that kind money in cash. I really pray you reap the rewards of your labour and sacrifice. Open doors for you very fast. 3 Likes |

stagger: Skill is very important. Get a skill before moving. When my wife and I won American visa lottery back in 2013, the man we were going to stay with told me to acquire specific skill. He gave me about three options to choose from. I can't even understand how someone with access to N30m is thinking of leaving the country. To do what really?Exactly! You were holding 30m naira and you didn't know how to multiply that going into business! |
