These things are not unimportant as you say. If we don't write own history and put things in perspective, especially when the major actors (pun intended) are still alive, history becomes distorted or lost and we end up with offsprings with misplaced identities.
If a lot of things were well documented ab initio, many of the intertribal wars and arguments we have today in Nigeria would easily have been avoided.

It's true...KOK and Nkem Owo have been in the entertainment industry since the 80s in the then Nta Channel8 and ABS. Pete Edochie came into act via Things Fall Apart...before then, he was OAP with Anambra Broadcasting Service ABS built by Senator Jim Nwobodo. He handle a Rock and Roll segment on Satuday and Music of the masters classic on Sundays. I used to see KOK and Nkem Owo back then when my mom was handling Tortoise Club...that was before Enugu State was created oooooo. KOK also acted in Things Fall Apart, the Igbo version that first came out before the English version.

When it comes to biological age, Pete is older than him, when it comes to acting drama(Things fall apart) which is not a home video, Pete is older than him, but when it comes to Nollywood business(Living in bondage) which is a home video, Kanayo is older than Pete, so I get his point.

He is right, but how does this shitty story bear any meaning, even Okonkwo himself already said this in an interview that he ed Nollywood late after his initial shot to stardom with things fall apart. Busy body if you ask me.

Nollywood started with home video ie video cassette. Cinema is going to the cinema to watch a movie in the old days, those movies where not available on VHS to private homes then. We could only watch things fall apart on NTA back the however living in bondage was amongst the 1st movies you could buy or rent on VHS, hope this helps.

True! The real Nollywood movies started in the early 90s. I the movie "When the sun set" starring Kate Henshaw, Franka Brown, Funmi Martins, Bob Manuel and Kok. Though Pete started way back in the 80s oo but, he ed what we call nollywood of today much later. I think he was in rituals, Igodo and the likes. So true talk. Kok na him senior for nollywood
