cbn4main: This case worker is not alright. I can tell you for a fact that the new rule doesn't affect dependent. I know people that applied recently and their dependents got their visa. The student didn't apply with the dependent |
cbn4main: 4:14pm On Sep 22, 2023 |
Oluaminah: It's possible the COS the dependant used had a start date that is after the student's course end date. |

cbn4main: Ok, then tell your employer to write a sponsor note on the COS stating that your start date is Oct 21. Then you can go ahead to apply for visa with peace of mind. Goodluck |

Oluaminah: I waited for more than 3 months to get the COS. I wouldn't want any more delays from them. I would rather wait till after my partner's course end date and apply. Thanks for your reply |

Please the expiry date on my COS, does it mean that I have to be in UK before it's expires
|
OGINNISM1234: 8:21pm On Sep 23, 2023 |
Ayofemidara: It means you must have applied using the COS before the expires. The last entry date for you to enter UK will be on your VISA vignette. It is always the Date you intend to enter UK as filled in during your application +90 days.(If not modify for you by DMC) |

shakurshakur(m): 4:31am On Sep 24, 2023 |
Willydean: As the main applicant you can go ahead and apply for your visa and later apply for your dependants. |
Kicktaker(m): 7:52am On Sep 24, 2023 |
Willydean: You can go ahead and apply, the earlier the better as the MA while the dependant applies later on |

Greetings great minds. Please, for those who recently got COS for a Care job, applied and got their Visas this September, what was the skilled occupation (SOC) code on the COS ? Was it 6145 or 6146 ? Someone should pls assist me with a reply. Thanks. |

cyberat: Please, is this for a Care job? What was the occupation code? Pls help |
Puterico(m): 1:09pm On Sep 24, 2023 |
cbn4main: 6145 for care worker & home carers While 6146 is for senior care workers So you should know which you applied for |
cyberat(f): 1:44pm On Sep 24, 2023 |
cbn4main:Yes. Care. 6145 |
Tier4Dependant: 2:38pm On Sep 24, 2023 |
cbn4main: These SOC have different roles and different going rates or salary. It doesn’t matter what is on another persons CoS, your job role is peculiar to you. I believe the most common is 6145 anyway. (Domi care, care home, work etc) 6146 is for senior carers I believe. My first CoS was 6145, my current one carries 6141. 1 Like |
