A valid NIN and driving license will do. port is not compulsory for guarantor.

Good evening everyone

Please I ed for a 32 pages port online on the 31st of August, 2023 selected the earliest available date for the centre which is alimosho, lagos on the 3rd of October for capturing.

I was told by an officer that should I opt for a waver to capture on earlier date I will have to pay 100k another said 150k.

But the point is that I am concerned on how genuine this might be.

Or is better I wait for the date of capturing and then pay for a fast track after that.

I heard that the Festac port Office is now producing the ports of the applicants who were captured in May 2023. For your sake and for the sake of the applicants like you who went the do-it-yourself (DIY) route when applying for their ports, I hope the information is correct.

Do you mean DIY applicants? My kids captured in mid April and when I went last week I was told it wasn’t ready. Still on AA. Those collecting then are those who used an agent to fast track.

Finally, I just applied for fresh port on the portal yesterday.

Nigerian port renewal or reissue does not require a guarantor.

On the tracking portal it's still on production in process... Will the last item be ticked when it's ready for collection?

I captured February and got mine August ending.

So Maybe June will be somewhere around Nov or December

Go back next year unless they hasten the process but I just doubt.

Does anyone have an idea of the price one can get a notary stamp on the guarantor's form at the High Court, Ikeja?

I went there today I was told I can not get the notary stamp on the guarantors form without the guarantor...

It is usually #250 max #500 if your guarantor show face. But you know naija now, if you insist that guarantor is busy or far away expect them to charge you 2k max 3k. Don't do with road side people and if you must still between that 2k to 3k insist they get the receipt for the payment for you. Speak like you know the process but the condition has limit you.

The thing is I'm trying to renew for people that won't be available till December (DIY), can the parent just go there and present the application details

Ensure the name you are filling tallies with name you used to get your card. Confirm the card numbers too
