Why did I step away from Forex trading since 2021?

I needed to have other sources of income. I realized I couldn't trade forex successfully from a position of being broke.

Also, I needed time to stay away from the noise and psychological effects of not making significant progress.

Today it will look like I understand the market. The next day everything will scatter.

As I make my come back, I know that what I need is the discipline to stick to my trading rules. There are thousands of strategies that are working in the market.

Find the one that one that works for you and stick to it.

1. Analyse only on Laptop no matter what.

2. Allow your stop loss to breathe.

3. If your heart is tied to the money, it will be hard to be successful. You don't want to lose to the market, so you overanalyze. Profits and losses are part of the game. No matter how good you are, you'll lose.

But let your profit be more than your losses.

As I countdown to my comeback, I want to make a shoutout to Samfelly, Charly20, Boss Infofirst and GabsonFX2.

Funded acc scaled to the next level by 50% after making 10% profit. The downside is I have to trade another 14days to be able to withdraw. Was hoping to withdraw again this weekend. Anyway more capital to make more profit by staying discipline and avoiding greed. Slow and steady. The goal is to stay consistent.

On the same chart you posted, open the W1 and the resistance disappears.

Also, if we all keep trading between resistance and , it means market would never make a new resistance or . when you swing trade, you just follow the swings - you are not trend trading. As for me, resistance and s are not what I avoid, it is range; as long as I'm not trapped between resistance and (ranging), I activate.

I will now post the same chart you posted, I will point out the resistance there and you can tell me if you would not buy because it is a resistance.
So, let's say we are at that closing of the 3rd bullish candle at resistance, would you buy this or ignore because it is at resistance?
I will then post the outcome (how it played out) after your answer

I mostly trade price action on daily/ 4hr and I trade base on what price has done on particular zone before. so that buying at resistance look strange to me. but I forgot when it comes to trading everyone is right.if we write 6 down and two people stand opposite each other.first person will see 6 while the second person will see 9.they are both right base on how they're viewing the number.

Not here to bash or argue with anyone.am still learning and am here to ask question so I can grow.

Portrait will narrow and diminish your understanding of market at any point in time.

Though it is doable if the multi-time frame analytical approach is always adopted.

Rather than jumping into trade position immediately after only gazing at the short time frame like the minutes time frames at the first time

This lots size was meant for my Tft competition , I tot I was on TFT mt5 coz both were opened on my laptop, not knowing I opened the 3 lots size on my 10k 😭. I couldn't risk waiting for it to turn positive so I closed immediately it went from -$30 to 0... Not knowing - $15 commission has been deducted. The highest loss on that so far was just $7....This mistake really pain me gan.... This is the 2nd time this will be happen.... Make I focus on one b4 I go mistakenly chop dd by mistake one day.

That's why there is stop loss and take profit to mitigate risks of capital exposure.

Use Trading View on a landscape ... I have a pepperstone but I prefer to use the candlestick price Action on OANDA. It looks more cleaner... Mt4 and Mt5 are full of messed up candlestick patterns
