I was in the same situation for many years. My genotype AC, but the ladies with AA usually have character issues. Some will even tell you they are doing you a favor, unfortunately. Most of those with AS usually the opposite. But at a point, I hod to throw caution to the wind and do the needful with someone that is AS. My brothers and sisters, every day of that 9 months of pregnancy was like, "what have I done". But when the boy came weighing almost 4kg without any issue, I calm down and after 5 years, did his genotype, it came out AS. Still trying for another one. But, please, this is not to say you should do same.

I guess it's one of the effects of the curse on man due to sin.
Nevertheless, when one comes into Christ He deals with it the way Only He can.
Either He finds and aligns an AS to marry an AA.
Or He simply changes the AS to AA.
Or the person remains AS but the effect of AS is not there anymore.

Truly when you go to churches where the Power of God is evident (and not for showmanship) and you meet and know some of these people, it makes one truly love and fear God and helps build ones faith.

AC is another genotype combination that if you meet another person with AC, you may get a child with hemoglobin C...which is a milder condition compared to Sickle cell anemia.
