That's exactly my fear. He shared one of his sold domains on twitter. I congratulated him with my domain attached to it.

He reached out to me with the hope of helping me to sell the name through outbounding. He equally told me that he's broker. According to him, there must be a contractual agreement before he could proceed (40/60)

I flipped this name in 2021, 5 days after picking it up from ED. No outbound. I got an inbound whois email from a Godaddy employee (aftermarket). Email went straight to my spam. Something pushed me to check the SPAM folder that day, and right there saw an email from this guy. Wanted to ignore. Looked him up on Linkedin, and he seemed legit. A Godaddy employee. I was still skeptical, but just replied him for benefit of doubt.

The point of this post is I came across this name on my ED watchlist, and decided to look it up to see how far with development. Suprisingly, it's still pointed to Dan's nameserver after more than two years of purchase. Buyer just slapped a 10 year renewal on it and forgot about it. Lol.

Oh, and I sold it for $599 which was what he said customer offered to pay. It was more than what I was expecting, so didn't bother to drag it beyond that. I imported lead on Dan as transaction, and the rest they say is history. Lol.
